You need Wolvenkit (duh!)

1.Make sure mlsetupbuilder is installed






2.Open Asset Browser







3.Search for the Weapon you want to change and .mlsetup
(by adding " clean" after copperhead you get its clean variant only)







4.Add them to your project (you need each weapon part railing mags etc)






5.Convert them (clean variant in this case) to .json
files






6.Open them with MLsetupbuilder







7.Now with MLsetupbuilder Import the Color and material set





8.Change each Layer To the color you want or material you want.







9. change Colors and material or Color of material in different light with Luminosity slider.







10.Make sure to apply the color for each layer.





11.after Applying desired color to each layer export your file.






12.Convert the .json files you Edited to .mlsetup





13.Build the mod




Afterwards check your log for the location of the mod install it and see your changes.

p.s. you can also uncook the data to see the 3d model and changes with each layer in MLsetupbuilder but my pc can't load that much data...
