Mhhhh I am not sure if that isn't a upside π€π Same for my military time though - no fit in tanks, planes, ships, anything. So footsoldier it was ππ€£
Ohhh now I kinda wanna see buff Steven ππ Tank definitely not the place to be to cool off, so true - especially if you barely fit anyway π As a commander I would have no choice to ride but with open hatch, always on the lookout- so I was happy laying cable π€£
.... Was crazy with pumping iron during those days. Boxing & Dragon Boat too. I'm just a small LCP by rank, which I'm very happy with that, any higher rank, I'll have to serve for another half a year.
Ohh so awesome! πͺ No messing with Steven ππ Understandable you wanted to keep it short, my time altogether was volunteered and only up to PFC - wasn't a full year until I happily did my last official salute π
π€£... Nah, I just enjoyed training. Not much serious training these days though. Now into MMA with my gf.
National service here is mandatory if a boy is physically fit. Hmm.. actually officers will usually use promotion to threaten small fries like me cause they knew people like me don't wanna serve another half year. π
Ohh wow that's super cool! π²π I pity those who dare to mess with either of you then ππ€£π€£
Yeah it was mandatory here too - till about a year after I did my service π At the time didn't know exactly what to do, so did it to have it out of the way - but wouldn't wanna miss it either tbh, was really fun at times π Oof that really sucks - and no way you could have said "no thanks bruh" to a promotion I imagine π΅ Very glad it didn't happen! π€π
Hmm... π€ Think not many will mess with us, which cause another problem. My head always get smack by her. π₯Ί
Of course, there're fun moment in the army, understandable. π I enjoyed it too, but thing is, the money we get from the national service here won't be able to feed the family unless sign up contract for full time. Yup, glad I was not promoted. π€£ Rank in the army don't prove a poop in our country. People here don't care about your rank in the army, they care about how much is your salary. ππ
Owwwww poor Steven π₯Ί Don't get a concussion my friend π Oh yeah, it's the same here - should have done half a year more and get paid triple the whole duration... but I didn't π€£ I hope full time soldiers get at least paid well then for you? π€ Here they do I believe, especially with actually having to go to operations outside the country
Nah, signing up only means a stable job in the army. That kind of salary is nothing compare to what we can make outside of army. π Hmm... We still get overseas training even without signing up for full time. π€
hehehe π Oh definitely, now that it's not mandatory here anymore for quite a long time - I feel like the youth here could use it a lot π Or that's just me getting old and grumpy. Or both π€£
π€£.. usually I get gold. Now, keyword is usually, why? I'm quite a "timid" soldier, officer yelled at me halfway through the test, I'll pooped myself like a timid bunny. π
Ohh now I get it,ο»Ώ "even now" π That's quite the picture my friend, sensitive but super buff Steven π₯Ίπ As long as it's only smacks on the head now from your gf π In that regard my companies training time was kinda funny. We all came from my northern area and got sent to the middle of the country. A region with a heavy dialect, so when our officers yelled at us, we mostly didn't understand anything at all π€£π€£
π€£... I was quite a rebel during those days. How I envy you, not understanding the dialects. π₯Ί In here, we mostly understand most dialects, especially my generation. π€£
Rebel in the army? How did you survive and not get promoted? π hehehe, my part of the country kinda prides itself in speaking clean, dialect free - so we are really screwed when a heavy one is used π€£ How you understand most, had to actually learn them, or it's not that vastly different? π€
Well, I'm usually the type, you order, I do, nothing more, nothing less. Just don't shout, I'm not deaf. My way of rebel is easy, don't like it, report sick.
My family is used 2 main dialects, the other dialects are usually what we learn from society. hahahaha.... Why I said 2 main dialects, simple, no matter which dialects a person is from over here, it will involve these 2 main dialects if the person use vulgar language.
We don't usually learn them as it's part of the culture, the more you listen, the more you get to understand them. Not for the new gen though, cause the young couples usual speak english & some speak broken mandarin at home. (Yup, Chinese speak broken mandarin at times too)

Meanwhile me trying to do stunts
OOF! π¬
Yeah thats my level too, I'm just lucky to be so tall that this is kinda impossible to happen π
Thank you very much Steven! <3 <3 <3
.... I'm not safe from this though ππ€£

I think that's sad πΏ
That's tough for mandatory service, thankfully that wasn't a thing here without signing up for some longer time π€
That's life here, but it's good to go through army life. Some times, a person get to know more about himself in the army.
