About this image

Why do the final images look like trash in post? The file size matches high quality images I get from my own photography and they're always clear as crystal. I've tried everything from DLSS on/off. Auto Focus and Manual. DOF on/off. Never run grain or chromatic aberration. Every picture is extremely pixelated in any resolution I run, 1440 or 4k. I have a decent rig. 3080 OC, 32GB, and a Ryzen 9 5900X. Not sure if anyone has any pointers, but I'd appreciate anything.

How are you capturing your photos? I noticed when I captured my photos with my gpu software the color grading and quality was much clearer and accurate to what I shot BUT the file size was larger by 6-8mb compared to being captured with windows print screen or screen shot which was lower quality but smaller file size. Try using your gpu's screen shot hotkey. I capture photos in 4k and convert in light room without any editing to be able to post.

I'll give it a shot in a few and let you know how it goes; I've never considered using the graphics card to capture. I pretty much do the exact same when it comes to composition except that I use in-game PM to capture, no filters or editing in game just a clean and focused shot and then edit in post using LR. ... after a quick break... just realized what I may be doing wrong. For some reason my LR was pumping out lossy vs lossless. I'll do lossless and use the GPU to capture and see what happens. Thank you so much!

I have the same question as you since I see lots of photos on here where the quality is incredible. I only recently figured out how I can take photos in 2K instead of 1080p, which is better, but it's still pixely.
