      In my opinion, lighting is the most important aspect. So far I prefer to use soft lights as they reduce shadows on the face and provide a clean and polished appearance. I haven't experimented with hard light yet, but It's definitely on my to-do list. To help enhance the soft lights I use two different reshade DOFs quint's for a smoother blur and then apply cinematicdof to focus on the point of interest. In the first and third pictures, I focus on her eyes, while in the second picture, I focus on her right shoulder to ensure the entire body is in focus. I am by no means a pro at any of this, so I usually make adjustments based on eyeballing and trial and error. I also move things around frequently to capture an appealing shot so camera angle, lights, props, and poses. Plus path tracing helps a lot with light bounces too!
