    • I recommend DLSS Swapper to manage most games DLSS DLL files
    • Update DLSS to v310.2.1 and use Transformer model
    • Update Ray Reconstruction to v310.2.1 also
    • DLSS Frame Gen we recommend using v3.8.1 (it seems faster than newer versions with less ghosting)
    • I recommend NvidiaProfileInspectorRevamped to force DLSS SR and RR to Preset E (to fix the wax puddles issue)

    Common Bugs and Fixes

    • Crashes, or smeared shadows 🡒 Rename or delete %LocalAppData%\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077\UserSettings.json 
    • Slow/crashing screenshots use the Unwatched Dog patch 🡒 Disble overlays. This can also happen due to using non-standard DLSS scaling (ty to EtaKrysaTarakan)
    • Low FPS 🡒 try disabling your overlays (e.g. Steam, GameBar, NVidia)
    • Using RT+PT? Disable PT in graphics menu, and disable Ray Reconstruction. You may need to increase your gamma, or use RenoDX and a good LUT (see the main mod page for recommendations)
    • To enable the GameBar, use this reg file
    • Rectangles on left of screen? Use DLSSTweaks and in dlsstweaks.ini and change ResolutionOffset from -1 to 0
    • Low FPS (even without Ultra+) with 12GB or lower VRAM, or the game slows down after playing for a while 🡒 Cp2077 is running out of VRAM. Set textures to Medium and remove 4k texture mods
    • FSR3 for Cyberpunk is out for NVidia users. Use the Universal version for least hassle 😊
    • AMD CPUs 🡒 Run AMD's Auto Detect driver tool. Even if you've installed chipset and CPU/GPU drivers, there are often newer or missing drivers, and they're important
    • Exclude 1) gamename.exe, 2) the game folder, and 3) shader cache folder from Windows Defender (or other) antivirus
    • Also exclude games from Control Flow Guard (click Start > type Exploit Protection > Click Program Settings > click Add program to customize > click Add by program name > type Cyberpunk2077.exe > Scroll down to Control flow guard (CFG) > Click Override > Switch to Off)
    • Enable Resizable Bar more info here and intro video here
    • Black appearing on trees: It's a CDPR bug where path traced shadows are not correctly calculated for trees. There is a workaround by TheCyanideX here

    I tried to pinpoint the issue of flickering lights on the floor, and it seems that disabling this mod fixed that problem for me

    I'm using it with NOVA City and NOVA LUT. Tried with PTNext, PT21, PT20 (DLSS in all cases) - same problem..

    Is it a known issue or perhaps something on my end, conflicting with other mods?

    Does it make sense for me to use this mod with 4070 Super?
    I play mostly on high/ultra in 4k, capped to 60 with some RT but no pathtracing of course.

    when using PTNext, some weird shadows sometimes appear on the screen out of nowhere (quite rarely tho and in random locations), and they are always on the fixed location of the screen - the only way to get rid of them is either go into settings for a bit or open the map

    is this a known issue or more likely some conflict on my end?

    When im using this with frame generation dlssg-fsr3 from nukem .. my screen goes flickering.. can somebody help me with this situation, i am using laptop legion 5 pro r7 6800 rtx 3070.. also im playing in hdr mode.. using nova lut and env.. i am following all guide but the fps become super bad

    Hey there, using a 4080S, with PTNEXT, I see that when firing guns, the muzzle flash and lighting in the room goes away, yet with PT21 it comes back. The visuals with PTNEXT are stunning, just not sure why the muzzle flash has gone away. Maybe something on my end but have any thoughts?

    Using a 3080, 4k res, im only using raytracing no pt. On a fresh game install simply just adding ultra plus, setting it to RT only-vanilla quality(changing quality only made fps drop even more)-10gb vram, I lost 9-23 fps in every location and scenario I tested vs vanilla game with absolutely no visual differences in lighting/shadows/reflections/colors/etc, everything looked exactly the same but with less fps. Game version 2.21, ultra plus 6.2.2.

    There's waaay too much "movement" going on in the lighting for me to use PTNext and on top of that i just got a crazy shadow bug that only happens on PTNext. All good though! PT21 looks great :)

    anyone tested this mod using rx 9070 xt, while using optiscaler to be able to use the FSR4? does it work? is it good?

    Got crash with this error after a certain period of play (around an hour) since new update :
    Message: D3D12MA: Out of memory
    File: E:\R6.Release\dev\src\common\gpuApi\src\dx12\gpuApiDX12Error.cpp

    Didn't had any problems before.
    I selected the option 20/24gig in vram option, if that can help
    Got a 4090

    EDIT :
    Crashed again, after around an hour of gaming (this time without anything selected in the vram option, after reseting default UltraPlus folder) :
    Message: Out of Memory! Failed to allocate 854885134928 bytes with alignment 186643024 from pool '(null)' using '(null)'

      U+ doesn't cause out of memory errors by itself

      did you install any texture packs?

      Nope, nothing else than updating Ultra+ that's why I don't understand what's wrong
      EDIT : wait, I also modified the pagefile.sys memory and setted it up from Auto to Manual 4096 min 8192 max. Can it be caused by this ?

      to be fair, a lot of problems was reported for all recent nvidia drivers, so it could be your case too.
      you could check Gamers Nexus or JayzTwoCents videos, for example.
      or nvidia subreddit for info related to your current driver version.
      as for swap settings, i guess they fine if you have at least 32gb ram.
      personally i set it to min 1024mb and max 9078mb, while having 64gb ram, never had issues with that.

      566.36 driver from last December was the last stable driver they made. I strongly recommend rolling all the way back to that one ESPECIALLY if you're crashing to desktop.

      Crash to desktop is 100% caused by any of the newer Nvidia drivers from when they launched the 50xx series cards. 566.36 is proven stable.

      EDIT: To rollback you need to add/remove programs, remove the current nvidia driver, reboot W11 (power off, then power on to make sure it's a FRESH boot), then install 566.36 which you can download ahead of time.

    Hello, I had a problem with this mod: I started a new game (I hadn't played with it before), played for an hour, quit, and when I wanted to load a save, the game just started to crash halfway through/beginning to load. Also, during the game, the fps could sometimes drop sharply from 100 to 5, but I'm not sure if this is related to your mod, but still. Without the mod, the save loads smoothly.
