Remeber that old Perk that promised to do this but was bugged for literal years? Now you can have it for free, 2.0 style.
As shown in the 2019 gameplay dive, quickmelee your enemies to stagger them. Get behind them before they recover (2s) to be able to grab them. Enemies allied with the one you're grappling won't shoot you while you keep the hold, but turrets will and will kill the held living cover for you.
Compatible with:
Stealth Finishers (ZKV_Takedowns) (by Kvalyr) to also have the option to trigger a melee finisher instead of the grab. You'll need to swap to a melee weapon of your choice.
Savage Stun (by enowai) to be able to trigger grab/finisher even from the front, and to pick the enemy up in a Savage Sling kind of grab instead (if applicable)
Installation
Copy/extract the contents of the archive into the main "Cyberpunk 2077" folder.
Uninstallation
Remove the "Cyberpunk 2077\r6\scripts\ButtslingerQuickmelee" folder and all its content.
Remove the "Cyberpunk 2077\r6\tweaks\ButtslingerQuickmelee" folder and all its content.
