Version 1.1
Fixed the bug where upgrading the blades changed it to regular mantis blades
Mantis blades are an insanely cool piece of cyberware, but it doesn't really hold up well compared to katanas. Couple that with the fact that there's a distinct lack of iconic arm cyberware with unique perks, something had to be done!
A new model for the mantis blades are coming, soon!
The "Edge Of Red" Mantis Blades formerly belonged to a Maelstrom ganger who intentionally tried to toe the edge between sanity and cyberpsychosis in an attempt to increase his combat capabilities. Modified pain editors within the cyberware trigger certain nerve endings whenever the user recognizes that they 'kill' someone. The triggered nerve endings send a jolt of pain to the user, in the hopes of sending them into a berserker rage which would theoretically increase their combat prowess. If not careful though, the repeatedly triggered nerve endings can send the user into a cyberpsychosis, giving even the least chromed up of users a once in a lifetime meeting with MaxTac, like this blades' former owner.
Iconic Effect: The Plunge 10% chance on kill with the mantis blades to trigger the Fury state Each kill with the mantis blades during the Fury state increases movement speed, attack speed, and mitigation chance by 5%, stacking up to 6 times While in this state, any kills with the blades refresh the duration of Fury (Note: Switching off of the blades ends the Fury state early)
