❯❯❯ Content Update:
Update 3.2 overhauled the gameplay integration of the mod and added compatibility with the future Zenitex Military Store release:
Spoiler:
Show

Full update notes in changelog, summary below:
  • While the primary scope of the update was to prepare the mod for the upcoming Zenitex Military Store, this update added other features (mostly technical optimizations) that my mods received overtime.
  • The file names have been shortened and the internal structure reworked to my most modern template.
  • Vortex users can update as normal, but manual install users must remove all previous files from this mod before updating.
  • The custom set has been added. As mentioned previously, this set will load color set replacers in the future.
  • Changes and additions were made to refits, including various dynamic mesh features. As such, the unsupported and incomplete Gymfiend and Adonis refits have been removed.
  • Garment Support has been added to all pads as optional files. Use it only if you know you need it.
  • The GS only functions when no toggle is affecting the pads (Except thigh pads). For example, if you equip the toggle to make the elbow pads tighter, it will deactivate their GS.
  • Removed the reaction tags (not faction) from all items.
  • Reworked resource patching to fix any potential issues with new ArchiveXL versions.
  • The items from this mod now come in all possible rarities with new and improved stat bonuses that scale up the higher the rarity.
  • The Zenitex Iconic, a new rarity, was added that has even more powerful stat bonuses as well as a custom attunement.
  • The attunement currently counts and displays the number of Zenitex Iconics equipped from the same color set in the item's tooltip. This feature will be expanded in future to give a combined bonus.
  • The different rarities of items (based on your streetcred level) can only be obtained from Kimiko, one of the vendors inside the Zenitex Military Store.
  • She will also sell the iconic variant once the player reaches a certain streetcred level.
  • Kimiko will sell all rarities of items at significantly reduced prices, except the iconic variant which will be priced at the same value as the Legendary variant found in Zenitex Atelier.
  • The virtual atelier, Zenitex Atelier, will continue to sell the legendary variant (and only that rarity) at the same price as before and at any streetcred level (hence why prices here won't change).
  • Very special thanks to Saltypigloaf for teaching me the basics of TweakXL and helping me create this update.
  • The codes have been changed, requiring you to buy or spawn the items with the new codes.
  • The old items from this mod will be automatically removed from your inventory and stash once you install the new update.

Colors & Items:

❯❯❯ Colors:
This mod includes color variants for my 20 Military Sets. It requires my Military Palette Texture Library:
  • All items are designed to match my other military mods updated to 3.0 or are new releases.
  • Camo patterns are monochromatic and each set features a distinct accent color.
An additional custom set is included:
  • This variant will load an optional color set that you can pick from Military Palette Texture Library optional downloads.
  • If no optional color set is installed, this variant will load a duplicate of the black set.
  • You can have only one optional color set installed at once.

❯❯❯ Items:
This mod includes toggle items:
  • Toggles are utility items that will modify the shape of a clothing item when equipped.
  • These toggles need to be equipped together with their respective clothing item to have an effect.
  • More information about the toggles in this mod under the Dynamic Mesh section.

In total, 174 items are added:
  • 21x Shoulder Pad [L]
  • 21x Shoulder Pad [R]
  • 21x Elbow Pad [L]
  • 21x Elbow Pad [R]
  • 21x Thigh Pad [L]
  • 21x Thigh Pad [R]
  • 21x Knee Pad [L]
  • 21x Knee Pad [R]
  • 3x Thigh toggles
  • 1x Shoulder toggle
  • 1x Elbow toggle
  • 1x Knee toggle

Dynamic Mesh & Modules:

❯❯❯ Dynamic Mesh:

This mod has Dynamic Mesh features implemented. By using custom tags, ArchiveXL will adjust meshes based on what you're wearing:
  • (Both Vs) - Equipping the Elbow toggle will toggle the elbow pads to a tighter refit.
  • (Both Vs) - Equipping the Knee toggle will toggle the knee pads to a tighter refit.
  • (Both Vs) - Equipping any of the Thigh toggles will toggle their respective thigh pad to an alternate refit.
  • (Both Vs) - The knee pads will auto-adjust over the Combat Pants when worn together.
  • (Male V) - Equipping the Shoulder toggle will toggle the shoulder pads to a large refit
Note: Gender-specific conditions won't do anything when equipped by the opposite gender.

❯❯❯ Modules:
To equip all items at the same time, you need to use EquipmentEx:
  • Find the items from this mod in my Zenitex Atelier by searching "Armor Pads".
  • To change the slot of an item, hold F over it in EquipmentEx and change its slot to one of your choice.
There are 12 modules spread across 12 slots:
  • OutfitSlots.ShoulderLeft: Shoulder Pad [L]
  • OutfitSlots.ShoulderRight: Shoulder Pad [R]
  • OutfitSlots.ElbowLeft: Elbow Pad [L]
  • OutfitSlots.ElbowRight: Elbow Pad [R]
  • OutfitSlots.ThighLeft: Thigh Pad [L]
  • OutfitSlots.ThighRight: Thigh Pad [R]
  • OutfitSlots.KneeLeft: Knee Pad [L]
  • OutfitSlots.KneeRight: Knee Pad [R]
  • OutfitSlots.BodyUnder: Thigh toggles
  • OutfitSlots.BodyInner: Elbow toggle
  • OutfitSlots.BodyMiddle: Knee toggle
  • OutfitSlots.BodyOuter: Shoulder toggle

Refits & Garment Support:

❯❯❯ Refits:
This mod has Automatic Refit Selection implemented. ArchiveXL auto-loads the correct refit depending on gender and body:
  • This mod is for both Female and Male
  • Compatible with the vanilla female and male bodies, as well as the VTK-based body mods: VTK EVB EBB EBBP | RB | EBBRB | EBBPRB | Angel
  • Body mods not listed above will by default load their gender-specific vanilla refit.
Note: No other refits will be added to this mod.

❯❯❯ Garment Support:
Garment Support (GS) is implemented as an optional file. Recommendations for this mod:
  • If using only my mods, the GS file is not recommended.
  • Exception: The Thigh Pads GS may be used in combination with the Combat Pants GS to reduce clipping.
  • If using this mod in combination with other GS-enabled clothing (vanilla or modded), the GS file may be used, but expect mixed results.
  • The GS of all items in this mod are set to squish clothing underneath them, but cannot be squished by clothing on top of them.
Note: Due to how EquipmentEx works with GS, you must switch the lower body accessories slots to "Legs" category, and the clothing you want squished to their respective "Thigh/Knee" categories.

More information about what Garment Support is and how it works:

Spoiler:
Show

  • GS is a system the game uses to squish/overlap clothes that would otherwise clip. It is based on a scoring system.
  • EquipmentEx assigns scores to items based on their slot. Higher-scoring items squish lower-scoring ones.
  • Changing an item's slot by holding F in EquipmentEx affects its score.
  • GS is included as an optional addon for better compatibility with other vanilla/modded clothing that supports GS.
  • Modded bodies usually lack GS. If GS isn’t mentioned on a body mod’s page, assume it’s unsupported.
  • However, body GS is optional. It's only used to prevent skin clipping in areas where GS of 2 clothes is active. Skin clipping may occur without it.
  • If skin clipping occurs, you may try using this mod to hide the body parts that clip through.

Gameplay Features:

❯❯❯ Stat Bonuses:
The items in this mod provide stat bonuses when worn in the vanilla slots:
  • The items come in all possible rarities. The higher the rarity of an item, the better the stat bonuses.
  • The Legendary variant is always available for purchase at the Zenitex Atelier, regardless of progression.
  • Other rarities, along with Legendary, can be acquired from Kimiko at the Zenitex Military Store based on your streetcred level. (Currently unreleased)
Shoulder & Thigh pads:
  • Armor Points: +8 / +8 / +8 / +8 / +8 / +8
  • Resistance (Explosive): 1.00% 1.20% / 1.40% / 1.60% / 1.80% / 2.00%
  • Resistance (Melee): 1.00% 1.20% / 1.40% / 1.60% / 1.80% / 2.00%
Elbow & Knee pads:
  • Armor Points: +4 +4 / +4 / +4 / +4 / +4
  • Resistance (Explosive): 0.50% 0.60% / 0.70% / 0.80% / 0.90% / 1.00%
  • Resistance (Melee): 0.50% 0.60% / 0.70% / 0.80% / 0.90% / 1.00%

❯❯❯ Quality of Life:
Each item in this mod has a unique tooltip:
  • The tooltip is a short description that appears when you hover over an item.
  • It displays the item's set name.
Adjustments for the FPP arms:
  • Modded items that go on the arms will clip through if not configured properly.
  • In this mod, the elbow pads were configured to properly render during FPP.
This mod features support for Responsive NPCs:
  • All items that belong to factions have been tagged accordingly. Lazarus is canonically affiliated to Militech.
  • This mod is optional. See the Responsive NPCs documentation for what faction tags do.

Obtaining & Usage:

❯❯❯ Obtaining:
This mod adds standalone clothing items to the game via ArchiveXL.

The items will not be added automatically to your inventory, instead you need to acquire them in one of the two ways:
  • Use my Zenitex Atelier to preview and purchase the items in a lore-friendly way. Download and install both this mod and the Zenitex Atelier (together with its requirements), go to any computer in-game and access the store.
  • Use the Item Codes available in the Articles tab or inside the text file that came with the mod archive. Copy-paste these codes inside the console of Cyber Engine Tweaks and the items will be instantly added to your inventory.

❯❯❯ Usage:
To find all items from one set in my Zenitex Atelier, use the search bar in the Atelier screen and search for your desired set (e.g., Alpine).
  • To use the clothes, equip them like any other garment available in the base game.
  • EquipmentEx is highly recommended because you will not be able to equip all items from one set at once with the 6 slots available in the vanilla game.

Description:
Modular Military Accessories Pack 1 - 10 military styled accessories found on NPCs, converted for player use.

This mod has been in development since the DLC dropped, as I had encountered a lot of issues with these meshes which required fixing, hence why it took me so long to release. There are 8 (+2 alternate position) accessories available, each having 28 color options, totaling at a final 280 items added by this mod.

The accessories are 2 sets of items found on various NPC appearances:
  • "Para" set contains Elbow and Knee pads that can be seen on a lot of NPCs in the vanilla game.
  • "Gungnir" set contains Shoulder and Thigh pads that are exclusive to the NPCs found in the DLC, such as the Barghest troops.

The items are split to be worn individually on each limb. EquipmentEx is mandatory for this. I have requested specific slots for this mod which have already been added to EquipmentEx. Get the latest version of it for the accessories to work properly.

Features:

  • Female V and Male V
  • 10 accessories
  • 28 color options each
  • Colors made to match my other mods
  • Refitted to work with tight and medium thickness clothes

Requirements:

Obtaining:
This is an ArchiveXL based mod that adds standalone items to the game, requiring you to acquire them first as they won't automatically appear in your inventory after installation. Two available methods exist for obtaining these items:

  • Use my Tac Threads Atelier store, which adds an online shop for you to buy my items in an immersive way. Download both the atelier and the mod you want you use, as well as their respective requirements.
  • Use the item codes provided in the zip file or in the Articles tab. Inserting these into the Cyber Engine Tweaks console will instantly add them to your inventory.

Download:
Download a single file:
Modular Military Accessories Pack 1 - Universal: For both genders and any body mod (except Gymfiend).
Modular Military Accessories Pack 1 - Gymfiend: For Male V with Gymfiend body mod.

Notes:
  • Regardless of the body you use, the accessories go on limbs where body mods usually don't make drastic changes.
  • While my focus will now shift on another project, do let me know if the accessories clip into the skin of any body mod.
  • Gymfiend refit is an exception, you need to download the dedicated file for it. (Thanks to LadyLea for refit!)
  • Project Valentine is the second exception. The accessories require a dedicated refit for this body.

Installation:
Install via Vortex or manually extract the contents of the zip file into the Cyberpunk root folder so they end up like this:

  • archive\pc\mod\scorpion_military_accessories_pack_1.archive
  • archive\pc\mod\scorpion_military_accessories_pack_1.xl
  • r6\tweaks\scorpiontank\scorpion_military_accessories_pack_1.yaml

Uninstallation:
Uninstall via Vortex or manually delete the following files:
  • archive\pc\mod\scorpion_military_accessories_pack_1.archive
  • archive\pc\mod\scorpion_military_accessories_pack_1.xl
  • r6\tweaks\scorpiontank\scorpion_military_accessories_pack_1.yaml

Compatibility:
  • Works on game versions (2.1 | 2.02 | 2.01 | 2.0) with or without the Phantom Liberty DLC.
  • Will not work on 1.63 and lower versions due to technical changes firstly introduced in version 2.0.
  • Will not conflict with, or replace any vanilla or modded items.

Permissions:
  • You are allowed to use and edit this mod only for your private & personal usage, or for your personal NPV.
  • For any edits that you wish to make available for public use (including porting or refits) please contact me first.
  • You are not allowed to reupload this mod or the assets within this mod (edited or not) without my permission.
