Colors & Items:
❯❯❯ Colors
This mod includes color variants for my 20 Military Sets. It requires my Military Palette Texture Library. All items are designed to match my other military mods updated to 3.0 or are new releases. Camo patterns are monochromatic and each set features a distinct accent color.
This mod includes additional color customization for the NVG's lenses and screens. There are 10 available colors and they come in both reflective and glowy variants: Orange | Blue | Green | Purple | Yellow | White | Red | Magenta | Cyan | Lime.
The NVG items have reflective dark-grey lenses and glowy green screens mounted by default. When the NVG is stowed, the screens are turned off.
❯❯❯ Items
This mod had no items with identical visual appearances. The mod includes special "Toggle" items that change the mesh of an item when equipped.
In total, 88 items are added by mod:
- 20x Helmet
- 20x NVG
- 20x Headset
- 10x Lenses [Glowy]
- 10x Lenses [Reflective]
- 6x Hair Toggles
- 1x NVG Toggle
- 1x Microphone Toggle

SmartMesh & Modules:
❯❯❯ SmartMesh
This mod has SmartMesh features implemented. By using custom tags, ArchiveXL will adjust meshes based on what you're wearing. These conditions only work between my mods. Conditions affecting the items in this mod are listed below:
Ops-Core FAST Helmet:
- (Both Vs) - Default: The chin straps will auto-adjust to face sliders and move with expressions.
- (Both Vs) - The chin straps will auto-adjust for the Military, Tactical and Netrunner balaclavas from Balaclava Pack.
- (Both Vs) - The Cables from Ballistic Mask (3.0 Unreleased) will auto-adjust on top of the helmet.
- (Both Vs) - The Goggles from Zenitex Goggles will auto-hide the back cover to prevent clipping.
- (Female V) - The Short Bangs toggle adds a hairstyle based on a vanilla NPC hairstyle.
- (Female V) - The Long Bangs toggle adds a hairstyle based on the vanilla Bowl Cut hairstyle.
- (Female V) - The Long Messy toggle adds a hairstyle based on a vanilla NPC hairstyle.
- (Female V) - The Gillean toggle adds a hairstyle based on the vanilla Sideswept Messy hairstyle.
- (Female V) - The Songbird toggle adds a hairstyle based on Eagull's Messy Songbird hairstyle.
- (Female V) - The Songbird Oneside toggle adds a hairstyle based on Eagull's Onesided Songbird hairstyle.
Ops-Core FAST NVG:
- (Both Vs) - Default: The NVG is stowed.
- (Both Vs) - Default: The NVG has grey reflective lenses and turned off screens.
- (Both Vs) - The NVG Deployed toggle positions the NVG in front of eyes.
- (Both Vs) - The NVG Deployed toggle turns on the screens with a dim green glow.
Ops-Core FAST Headset:
- (Both Vs) - Default: The Headset comes with an pre-attached microphone.
- (Both Vs) - The Microphone Hidden toggle removes the microphone.
Ops-Core FAST Lens:
- (Both Vs) - Default: Equipped Lens items will stay hidden until an NVG is equipped.
- (Both Vs) - Default: The Lens items change both lenses and screens colors.
- (Both Vs) - The glow of the lenses and screens are turned off when the NVG is stowed.
- (Both Vs) - The NVG Deployed toggle positions the Lens item in front of the eyes.
- (Both Vs) - The NVG Deployed toggle turns on the glow from the lenses and screens.
Other notes:
- All hairstyles, except Gillean have physics. Hairstyles auto-change their color to yours.
- Hold F to change the helmet from the head slot to render your own hair.
- Gender-specific conditions won't do anything when equipped by the opposite gender.
- The classic implementation would require at least 640 items to cover most important combinations.
- Due to ArchiveXL limitations, the lenses and screens of an equipped Lens item will float if the NVG toggle is equipped without the NVG.
❯❯❯ Modules
To equip all items at the same time, you need to use EquipmentEx. Find all items from this mod in my Zenitex Atelier by searching "Opscore FAST". To change the slot of an item, hold F over it in EquipmentEx and change its slot to one of your choice.
There are 12 modules spread across 7 slots:
- OutfitSlots.Head: Helmet
- OutfitSlots.Eyes: NVG
- OutfitSlots.EarLeft: Headset
- OutfitSlots.AnkleLeft: Lenses
- OutfitSlots.BodyUnder: Hair Toggles (6)
- OutfitSlots.BodyInner: Microphone Toggle
- OutfitSlots.ToenailsRight: NVG Toggle

Refits & Garment Support:
❯❯❯ Refits
This mod has Automatic Refit Selection implemented. ArchiveXL will auto-load the correct refit depending on the body installed.
Available means a refit was shaped specifically for a body mod, while Compatible means that an existing refit already works with another body mod (e.g., Vanilla Female will always work on EVB). Body mods not listed below will by default load their gender specific Vanilla refit.
This mod is compatible with both Vanilla Female and Vanilla Male as well as all body mods.
Attention: On new releases, there will be support only for Hyst body mods. You may request other refits in comments and I'll make them when I get the time. I will not do refits for body mods without an ArchiveXL Tag.
❯❯❯ Garment Support
Garment Support is not implemented as of right now. Garment Support (GS) is a feature that the game uses on vanilla clothes to morph garments that would otherwise clip (e.g., Shirts will be tucked in pants). For this to work, both clothing items must have GS enabled.

Gameplay Features:
❯❯❯ Responsive NPCs
This mod features support for Responsive NPCs, a mod that makes NPCs react to certain factors, such as the clothes you're wearing. The items in this mod have various tags used by Responsive NPCs. This mod is not required for the Ops-Core FAST to work.
Documentation for the tags listed below is available on the ResponsiveNPCs modpage:
- Despite this mod's military theme, the items have not been tagged with Military tags to avoid negatively impacting detection.
- The Helmet, NVG and Headset have been tagged with PositiveReaction.
- All items that belong to factions have been tagged accordingly. Lazarus is canonically affiliated to Militech.
❯❯❯ Stat Bonuses
Certain items in this mod provide a small custom stat bonus. Your primary stat increases should come from cyberware and leveling, as intended by CDPR. As a result, the stat bonuses from my clothing mods will always be minor but still reflect a realistic benefit based on their material composition and body coverage.
The following items have stat bonuses on them:
- +30 Armor - Helmet
- +2 Armor - Headset
❯❯❯ Quality of Life
This mod includes shadow meshes. These are separate, low-poly models used by the game to cast shadows from clothing in FPP with RT or PT lighting. In Photomode, high-quality shadows are cast directly from the visual model instead.
Each item in this mod has a unique tooltip that displays its faction tag (if any) and its set name(s). The tooltip is a short description that appears when you hover over an item.
The items in this mod have been configured to not obstruct vision during gameplay. Modded items that extend over the head, face or are close to the player's FPP camera may block vision if not configured correctly.
The NVGs have functional night vision via Kiroshi Optics Night Vision mod. This mod isn't required for the Ops-Core FAST to function, but without it, the night vision feature won't be available on the NVGs.

Requirements & Compatibility:
❯❯❯ Compatibility
This mod is compatible with game version 2.12a or higher. It does not require the Phantom Liberty DLC. This is because it uses ArchiveXL features from versions developed on 2.12a and above. Recent versions of ArchiveXL do not support older game versions.
All files in the mod have custom paths and unique names or IDs. Conflicts with other mods should not be possible.
❯❯❯ Requirements
This mod was developed with EquipmentEx in mind. As a result, ArchiveXL, EquipmentEx, Codeware, Redscript, TweakXL, RED4ext and the Military Palette Texture Library are mandatory.
To preview and purchase the items in a lore-friendly way, Zenitex Atelier is highly recommended.
Phantom Liberty DLC is optional, the mod only uses Songbird's hair textures from it. Responsive NPCs is optional, use it only if you want the clothing tags to take effect. Kiroshi Optics Night Vision is optional, use it only if you want functional night vision on the NVGs.
Mandatory requirements:
Optional requirements:
Download & Installation:
The mod is available as a single main file. Install and enable it via Vortex by pressing the Mod Manager Download button. For manual installation, click the Manual Download button and extract the contents of the zip file into the Cyberpunk 2077 root folder.
The correct files paths for the main mod archive are as following:
- archive\pc\mod\scorpion_military_opscore_helmet.archive
- archive\pc\mod\scorpion_military_opscore_helmet.xl
- r6\tweaks\scorpiontank\scorpion_military_opscore_helmet.yaml
Obtaining & Usage:
❯❯❯ Obtaining
This mod adds standalone clothing items to game via ArchiveXL. The items will not be added automatically to your inventory, instead you need to acquire them in one of the two ways:
- Use my Zenitex Atelier to preview and purchase the items in a lore-friendly way. Download and install both this mod and the Zenitex Atelier (together with its requirements), go to any computer in-game and access the store.
- Use the Item Codes available in the Articles tab or inside the text file that came with the mod archive. Copy-paste these codes inside the console of Cyber Engine Tweaks and the items will be instantly added to your inventory.
❯❯❯ Usage
To find all items from one set in my Zenitex Atelier, use the search bar in the Atelier screen and search for your desired set (e.g., Alpine).
To use the clothes, equip them like any other garment available in the base game. EquipmentEx is highly recommended because you will not be able to equip all items at the same with the 6 slots available in the vanilla game.

Update 3.0 Notice:
This mod has been completely reworked. The changelog covers most significant changes. Due to major changes, the previously released version, now called legacy, is still available for download in the Miscellaneous section and is compatible with version 3.0.
Both versions can exist together without conflicts. Items from the legacy version remain purchasable in the old Tac Threads Atelier, while the updated ones are in the new Zenitex Atelier (both shops are from the same modpage). However, I highly recommend using version 3.0, as the legacy version is no longer supported.
The old mod page is archived in the spoiler below, and all legacy version previews are labeled accordingly. New previews have been added at the start of the image carousel and are labeled "New".
Description:
Modular Military Helmet - Ops-Core FAST - A modern day military helmet fully ported and converted for player use in Cyberpunk 2077.
This mod has been requested by Grovac.
This is a combat helmet that is in active use in special operation forces in various countries. For more information about this helmet's specifications in real life you can check the wikipedia entry about it.

Lore:
One other thing I like to do is sometimes write a story to connect my characters and mods to the official Cyberpunk lore. I haven't shared any of these before, but here's a fragment of the one connecting this mod.
Each mod I made has one of these, some more complete than others. This is a fragment of the document showing how this helmet was initially discovered.
Expect one of these on each of my future mods from now on.

Modules:
This helmet is split into multiple, single modules, allowing for comprehensive customization and compatibility with other face items.
There are 7 main modules which you can wear at once together with my other military mods. The night vision goggles, together with its lenses and screen, have up and down positions which take the same slot.
An alternate variant of the helmet, which has skin tight chin straps, is also available by default along with the other items. This brings the total to 11 different items added by this mod.
Available items:
- Helmet
- Helmet [A]
- NVG [Up]
- NVG [Down]
- Lenses [Up]
- Lenses [Down]
- Screen [Up]
- Screen [Down]
- Headset
- Microphone
- Balaclava

Refits:
This mod uses the property interpolation feature from ArchiveXL. With this feature implemented, ArchiveXL will choose the female or male refit based on the gender you're playing as. This means only a single universal file is available for download which you can use for both genders.
The difference between the normal variant and the alternate [A] variant of the helmet, is the the [A] has chin straps that are skin tight, whereas the standard one has been specially fitted to go over the Balaclava in this mod.
Available refits:
- Compatible with every vanilla or modded body
Notes:
- The helmet has a considerable amount of space between the helmet itself and the head.
- This means most short hairstyles and a few medium sized hairstyles work well with the helmet. Note that you should wear the [A] variant of the helmet if you don't intend to use the balaclava, as this variant has skin tight chin straps.
- The chin straps and balaclava have morphing properties. They will shape around your face sliders and move together with expressions.
- Highly compatible with my previous military mask mod.
- Mod meant to be used my other military mods.

Variants:
This helmet has been colored in the same color palette as my other military mods. It features the same rough, non-reflective appearance as my other military gear.
Available colors:
- 20 Solid colors with neutral accents
- 8 Custom variants with camo patches
Notes:
- As stated in my previous mod, 3 of the custom variants are getting permanently replaced.
- Those 3 being the green camo variants (Woodland, Pinewood, Tropical). Unfortunately, they are very complex internally and are slowing my progress significantly when attempting to match them across my mods.
- Additionally, they didn't really fit much in the Cyberpunk world as there are no proper forest or green environments for them to make sense.
- They will be getting replaced across all my mods (eventually), with easier to maintain and more fitting variants.
- These variants being "Nightops" (Black with blue accent), "Enforcer" (Dark grey with light purple accent) and "Zealot" (White with red accent).
- The items in this mod have parts which use camo patterns, the new variants have custom geometric ones.
- Some of the individual microphone items actually have the same color (duplicates) across some of the variants.
- This is intended and I added them simply for the sake of having a complete set.

Optics:
Totally fried, and let's not even talk about the power supply...
The standard 28 colors above cover all the hardware elements, however in addition to these, I have added many variants of lenses and screens to be mixed with the NVG block. They have their own set of colors, but it is identical to the same color set used in the LEDs of my military mask mod.
The night vision goggles must be assembled with the NVG block itself, a back screen and front lenses. It's supposed to be made from all these 3 modules at once, but I've split them up for customization purposes.
Available colors:
- 20 Reflective Front Lenses
- 20 Reflective Back Screens
- 20 Glowing Front Lenses
- 20 Glowing Back Screens
Notes:
- They all have different color codes, however depending on lighting in the area you're in and how you've modded your game with visual mods, some may look similar to each other.
- These are available in both positions of the NVG Block (Up or Down).
- My personal recommendation is to use one of the black variants for the NVG screen in [UP] position, as it's supposed to be turned off.

Night Vision:
Update 1.2 introduces functional Night Vision to the NVG [Down] item. To have this work you must install an additional requirement, the Kiroshi Optics Night Vision Mod.
All you have to do now, is simply equip the NVG [Down] item in EquipmentEx and toggle night vision by pressing F3.
This mod does not have integrated night vision in it, you need to download the additional requirement (Kiroshi Optics Night Vision Mod) for it to function and to configure it further to your liking.

EquipmentEx:
EquipmentEx is absolutely mandatory to be able to customize this helmet properly. This mod adds a total of 364 items.
The items are split to be worn individually across 7 different slots. These slots already exist in the current version of EquipmentEx. If you don't use EquipmentEx, you can still wear the helmet in the vanilla Helmet slot, and the NVG block in the vanilla Mask slot.
Some of the items take the same slots as my military mask, however everything else can be worn in combination with my other military mods. Additionally, if you want to wear things together but they are in conflicting slots, hold F over the item in EquipmentEx and assign it to a new slot.
EquipmentEx slots:
- Head: Helmet x28
- Head: Helmet [A] x28
- Balaclava: Balaclava x18
- EarRight: Microphone x28
- EarLeft: Headset x28
- Wreath: NVG [Up] x28
- Wreath: NVG [Down] x28
- EyeLeft: Lenses [Up] x40
- EyeLeft: Lenses [Down] x40
- EyeRight: Screen [Up] x40
- EyeRight: Screen [Down] x40

Additional information:
The mod has an additional, small gameplay stat buff. Equipping the helmet in the vanilla Head slot will provide +25 Armor.
EquipmentEx is still mandatory to wear the full set.
All items in this mod are first person compatible.
Features:
- Female V and Male V
- Automatic refit selection
- 7 Main Modules, 28 Color options each
- 2 Lenses and 2 Screens, 40 Color options each
- 364 items in total
- Night Vision Functionality
- Wearing the helmet in the vanilla Helmet slot will grant +25 Armor
- Colors made to match my other mods

Requirements:
Obtaining:
This is an ArchiveXL based mod that adds standalone items to the game, requiring you to acquire them first as they won't automatically appear in your inventory after installation. Two available methods exist for obtaining these items:
- Use my Tac Threads Atelier store, which adds an online shop for you to buy my items in an immersive way. Download both the atelier and the mod you want you use, as well as their respective requirements.
- Use the item codes provided in the zip file or in the Articles tab. Inserting these into the Cyber Engine Tweaks console will instantly add them to your inventory.
Download:
Download the single main file available:
- Modular Military Helmet - Universal: Contains automatic gender and refit selection. Detailed information in Refits section above.
Addon files:
- Modular Military Helmet - Armor Stat Buff: Contains the +25 Armor Buff when worn in the vanilla Head slot. Install alongside the main file. Requires Phantom Liberty DLC.
- Modular Military Helmet - Hair Addon: Contains simple physics enabled hair for the [A] helmet. Female only. Install alongside the main file.
Installation:
Install via Vortex or manually extract the contents of the zip file into the Cyberpunk root folder so they end up like this:
- archive\pc\mod\scorpion_military_helmet.archive
- archive\pc\mod\scorpion_military_helmet.xl
- r6\tweaks\scorpiontank\scorpion_military_helmet.yaml
Uninstallation:
Uninstall via Vortex or manually delete the following files:
- archive\pc\mod\scorpion_military_helmet.archive
- archive\pc\mod\scorpion_military_helmet.xl
- r6\tweaks\scorpiontank\scorpion_military_helmet.yaml
Compatibility:
- Works on game versions (2.12 | 2.11 | 2.1 | 2.02 | 2.01 | 2.0) with or without the Phantom Liberty DLC.
- Will not work on 1.63 and lower versions due to technical changes firstly introduced in version 2.0.
- Will not conflict with, or replace any vanilla or modded items.
Permissions:
- You are allowed to use and edit this mod only for your private & personal usage, or for your personal NPV.
