Currently, I'm not modding due IRL issues. Long story short, I lost everything I had in a fire that destroyed my entire house (this happened on October 05 at 03:50 AM). I managed to get out with my family (my partner and our 1 y.o. daughter) and our dogs, sadly our cat was too old to escape and I wasn't able to reach her in time.
This is may be lame to ask, but if you have enjoyed any my mods, please consider sending some donation to my PayPal account: paypal.me/vanaukas
Thank you (:
What is this?
This is a simple customization file for Cyberware-EX Expansion Mode, that only adds 6 extra cyberware slots. Mainly for QOL rather than your usual "I'll fill the whole screen with slots lol" customization file.
I'm uploading it because I'm tired of losing the file or deleting it by mistake and is more comfortable to just redownload it again with a mod manager (Try MO2, it's awesome. Check the guide for using MO2 on Cyberpunk here). Also someone else may be interested in a more reasonable config than what's currently available, because those config files either add too many slots or just too few.
It needs the following perks for the extra slots
- Operating System: Edgerunner
- Frontal Cortex: Overclock (3/3)
- Integumentary System: Built Different
- Circulatory System: Dorph-Head
- Arms: Ambidextrous
- Legs: License to Chrome (1/3)
Reasoning
Integumentary and Circulatory System required perks are related to 2 specific cyberware (Cellular Adapter and Blood Pump), you either use those cyberware and don't waste a slot on them or waste a perk point if you want the extra slot for other cyberware. I know that Blood Pump doesn't need the perk as hard requirement (contrary to Cellular Adapter), but it just sucks to waste a slot to have a healing item. It's also useful for Biomon users.
Frontal cortex requires Overclock (3/3) to be unlocked, it just makes sense that getting the ability to Overclock will optimize the Frontal Cortex and allow 1 more slot to be used.
Operating System requires Edgerunner because 2 OS is the hardest thing to balance and it makes sense to ask for Tech 20.
Arms requires Ambidextrous, same as vanilla Hands. It makes perfect sense to me.
Legs requires L
The other systems doesn't need more slots in my opinion, so they aren't modified.
Optional Files
Extra Face slot
User TRARZS asked for an optional version with a Face slot, to use custom eyes from mods that doesn't get benefits from other mods that adds functionality to base game eyes. Requires Licence to Chrome (1/3).
No extra slots
Some of my Raito Labs cyberware needs Cyberware-EX as mandatory file now, due some internal fixes made by Psiberx, which allows to use some cyberware at the same time (like in GraviStasis, which has Charged Jump and Double Jump at the same time). I know some people don't want the added extra slots, so I've made this version to keep the fixes without adding any slot.
