Need more weapons ? Want to try other ways of killing ?
Here is a collection of Iconic reworks of casual weapons, including a grenade launcher (yep).
The purpose was to turn weapons I don't use in more appealing/usable ones, and it ended up working greatly for me :)

There are great guns in the game, and even more great add-ons on Nexus (sabbath7991’s, TII7’s, etc).
But that’s not enough :)
I realised that there where still lots of guns in-game that a never use because I don’t like how they behave, and that I could tweak’em to make them more enjoyable, and maybe discover new ways of killing gang-members ! And so I did.
I really use them in my game, so I spent some time balancing those and making them not overkill - with notable exceptions - I made a grenade launcher :)
Installation
This collection is mainly 1 folder containing 1 yaml tweak file for each weapon, and another folder with a .archive containing in-game weapons’ names (no description).
So no dependancy except CET, and it’s very lighweight (no assets but the one already in the game).
You use only what you want.
How tu use
- Use CET code in the CET console to spawn the weapon you want
- Weapons spawn at the same level as you are, no overkill
- Weapons are Iconic so you may upgrade them as you go and keep using it during your journey in the city of dreams.
- I selected no-default appearances, sometimes randomized, if you don’t like the one you recieve you may pop another one and see… then sell the one you don’t want.
- The same goes for weapon mod slots, it’s randomized (I recommend Unlock Me A Slot 2.1 to get the slots you should have)
Tweaking
I largely commented the yaml code of each weapon, so you may tweak it yourself to your likings.
You may even select other appearances than the ones I chose, I sometimes left indications for that.
Buy it in-game
If you fancy it there's an optionnal file to make all the collection available in 2nd Amendment in Vista del Rey (Heywood) or at the Blackmarket vendor in Dog Town Stadium.
Or just use the CET console with the codes listed below, as usual.
The weapons
-- Z-Mod Maximum Carnage
This one is a blast !

8 bullets instead of 4, much faster shooting, better range and less spread, faster reload, with the Mox weapon mod enabled (shock and knockout at close range).
You may find it overkill, I don’t, it’s one of my favorites !

Not usable except with Berserk, which I don’t play with.
Problem solved, MAXIMUM CARNAGE !

Not so powerfull, but aim for the head and see !

6 bullets instead of 2, and augmented headshot damage. Uses Sovereign skin but not its stats or mods.

I like the Sovereign look but the weapon was nerfed in the latest updates (really short range’n stuff), which makes it unusable for me :/
Problem solved, AIM FOR THE HEAD !
-- Z-Mod VST-37 Pozhar Xtreme
This one is awesome !

16 rounds instead of 12, pierces through walls, more damage, augmented headshot damage, augmented range, faster reload.
With the DB-4 Igla sound to make it feel more powerfull, and yes it is !

This one is a great tool when meeting a large group of aggressive mobsters :)

I honesly don’t use it, except for fun :)

6 grenades in the barrel, which is largely enough :) with the carnage sound for more audio aggressiveness.

Still took me some time to transform the explosion visual effect into a killing ennemies and blowing cars weapon… well it’s really effective :)
This one is not upgradable, as it does no damage at all by itself; the grenades it shoots do the damage, and they are hard-coded.
-- Z-Mod Silent Ticon
I looove this one !

I acts like the Pariah (Reed’s gun) with a different skin, so it is silent, deadly, and now has some style !
I added a bit of damage too.

On the other hand the default Ticon is not so much overkill, even though you may find great skins out there !
As a graphic designer the white/red skin reminds me a lot of The Designers Republic work on WipeOut 2097/XL, which I fell in love with as a teenager.
So I was very excited when I finally succeded in using this skin whith the Pariah’s iconic mods, and I use it a lot.
There is also a yellow skin which is nice too (it’s random, white/red or yellow).

A really enjoyable weapon.
Full-auto fire, 21 bullets instead of 14, faster shooting, higher crit chances, better range, less recoil, (a bit) faster reload

This build seemed promising, and it is great indeed, maybe too much ? Or maybe I already played a lot with this family of weapons.

This is a nice one :)
Full-auto fire (even when not charged), 30 bullets instead of 16, higher crit chances, faster tech charge, better range, faster reload, less recoil.
It still percies walls only if charged (which is fine).

Now this one is a great weapon, able to face many situations.

The Taigan (burns → crit famage bonus), with better DPS, augmented headshot damage, faster shooting, better range, (a bit) faster reload

The Taigan seemed promising, but has less damage than the Metel...
This tweak issupposed to solve this !

10 bullets instead of 6, better range, faster reload

I wanted to make a new one, with a fancy skin that I didn’t see much in my game.
It works great, but I already spent hours playing with this family of guns, so I don’t use this one much.

-- Z-Mod Fast Shigure
One of my favorites, a great great weapon !

54 bullets instead of 50 (not such a change), faster shooting, augmented headshot damage, augmented range

But it’s a good weapon, fast and reliable, with a simple yet neat design (with a yellow Hyakume scope it pops gloriously).
Well this one is even faster and even more reliable, making it a must if you play with SMGs.
This tweaked version is easily the best SMG I can find :)

Full-auto fire, 40 bullets instead of 24, a bit more damage, (a bit) faster reload.
Stylish.

Now it fires automatic bursts, which is great !

Honestly they behave quite the same, you may choose the one you fancy !
TII7 has a more subtle build with a custom appearence available.
If you're interested in the two below (which are just sound mods), I made an autonomous mod to tweak all bats and machetes sounds : Bat and Machete Sounds Swap (and I think it's a nice addition).

Just a regular Machete, but with the Razor sound, and it makes all the difference ! No kidding, just try it !

Now it feels powerfull, and I finaly can use it !

A normal legit bat, but red (nice ! I don't like gold), with the sound of the Hammer for a better feeling.

It’s better with the Hammer’s sound, yet not perfect… I would like to use the bat sound of Dying Light instead, but I would have to extract it and it’s time-consuming. Maybe later.
I recommend the Two Hand Blunt - Egghanced mod, it’s a great step to empower your bat too (the default file is not overpowered and doesn’t break the immersion).

I may add more weapons as the time goes… and some other mods too.
This is my first published mod, feel free to comment it, I won't cry.
