Disclaimer

Early iteration of this mod was a join effort of at least two people from the Cyberpunk 2077 Modding Community, and came to my hands a few months ago through a Steam friend who commissioned it. Later iterations are made by two secret underground agents. One provides the ideas and blueprints, the other takes those blueprints and makes them part of the game by writing the necessary scripts. All permissions for the distribution and further development granted. Edit: Many thanks to @Thortok2000 for being one of the two programmers and for providing a big chunk of the script.

Pros
A randomizer that enhances immersion and variety by selecting one of the available NCPD or Gig jobs for the player. This simple change makes the side content feel more dynamic, pushes players out of their comfort zones, and creates the sensation that V is actively responding to real-time events and situations across the city.

Cons
No cons. The mod is lightweight, well scripted and feels like an actual map function of Cyberpunk 2077.
- Creating a path to off-road markers is not always instant. That's a vanilla issue that fixes itself after a few seconds.

How it works
The mod works by opening the map screen, and then pressing or holding one of the two new button prompts. One for tracking NCPD jobs, the other for tracking Gigs.

Area/Full
covers the full map. Real variety.
Area/Large Covers a wide area but may occasionally track a job located very far from the player's position. Surprise variety.
Closest Only tracks only the closest jobs in relation to the player's position.

Version differences

Job Randomizer 2.0
- Job selection depends on your settings(Area/Full, Area/Large, Closest Only)
- Controller support depends on your settings

I'm keeping the old versions up just because i f-ing love them, but the recommended version is 2.0
Job Randomizer V1 and V2
- Job selection is 100% random
- V1: Mouse & keyboard only
- V2: Mouse & keyboard + Controller

Uninstall path for previous versions
- Cyberpunk 2077/r6/scripts/Job Randomizer V1/V2/MK1/MK2
- Cyberpunk 2077/r6/input/Job Randomizer.xml

Update: 2.0.1: Selecting a job with the randomizer now plays the default mapping selection sound effect.
