About this mod
This mod gives you additional options to obtain Wanted Levels - from triggering a Wanted Level by pulling out / firing your gun, to giving you a Wanted Level automatically after a set amount of time. It also lets you limit the max amount of Wanted Levels you can obtain or whether to raise the Wanted Level incrementally or not. Supports Street Cred

Premise
Do you find it strange that you escaped Konpeki Plaza in a fire fight after Saburo's Murder, and the NCPD doesn't seem to care throughout your entire playthrough?
Do you find it strange that you can whip out your gun in the middle of Night City and even fire it without much repercussions?
This mod aims to change that.
What this mod does
Depending on your settings the mod will give you a Wanted Level (or several) by simply pulling out / firing your gun or give you a Wanted Level after a set amount of time (or both). Wanted Levels can be given incrementally (so for example if you want a timer to give you up to 5 Wanted Levels after 10 seconds, it can do so one level at a time, or give you all 5 Wanted Levels immediately after 10 seconds). (All fully customizable)
Similarly the number of shots fired before you gain a Wanted Level can also be customized.
In addition you can cap both (the gun and/or the timer trigger) by the amount of Street Cred you have.
So for example you can customize it so that if you have a Street Cred between 5-10, you can only ever obtain up to 1 Wanted Level.
All fully customizable.
How it feels to play
It fundamentally changes how you play Cyberpunk 2077, making you a true fugitive that constantly needs to watch their back.
You will be chased by the police a lot more.
The usual way in which you get Wanted Levels in-game is also unchanged.
The best way to evade under these circumstances (other than combat) is to genuinely hide in buildings or side streets and to stay off the main streets, otherwise the chances of racking up Wanted Levels is pretty high.
Expect to see a lot more police escalations than in vanilla.

Known Issues
- Yes, the left mouse button trigger is less than ideal for certain situations but it was the easiest to implement and actually feels quite natural in-game, especially if you set it to trigger after a few clicks, rather than a single click. Potential issue here is that it is indiscriminate of whether you are stealth killing or not. You will obtain a Wanted Level either way.
- Might behave weirdly in certain story elements within the campaign. (not confirmed but highly possible. needs further testing.)
Settings in Detail
All Settings have detailed descriptions in-game, so you can skip over this but in case anything is unclear I've explained a few things below.

The first 2 settings control which trigger to enable (whether to trigger a wanted level on Left Mouse button or on a timer or both)
Both of these settings will recognize when you are in a menu and if so, will not trigger.
The Mouse Trigger will not recognize if you're using an in-game keypad. You can get around this by increasing the mouse click threshold. (see below for more info)
The Incremental Mode for both the Mouse & the Timer will make it so that your Max Wanted Level is either reached immediately or in increments of 1.
They can be set independently from each other.
The Debug Messages will toggle debug messages in the CET console.
The Mouse Click Threshold determines how many left mouse clicks need to be triggered, before a Wanted Level is applied.
The Max Wanted Level (Mouse / Timer) determine the max wanted level that can be applied through these respective triggers.
They will correctly obey these limits if both Mouse & Timer triggers are enabled.
What this means is that if you set the Max Wanted Level for the Mouse Trigger to 3 and the Max Wanted Level for the Timer to 5, the Mouse Trigger will stop applying Wanted Levels after you have reached 3 Wanted Levels, but the Timer will continue to apply Wanted Levels as per it's max setting and vice-versa.
The Timer Interval customizes the Timer trigger (measured in seconds).

The Street Cred Settings (Limit Mouse / Limit Timer) will practically override the Max Wanted Level settings in the previous screenshot and instead use the settings underneath (Tier 1-5 Settings) to determine up to which Max Street Cred you can obtain up to how many Wanted Levels.

There are more detailed descriptions in-game on this Settings page that explains how the Street Cred system works, but essentially there are 5 Tiers (in line with there being 5 Wanted Levels) in case you want to attribute 1 Wanted Level per Max Street Cred band.
- 0-10 Street Cred - You can only obtain a Max Wanted Level of 1
- 10-20 Street Cred - You can only obtain a Max Wanted Level of 2
- etc.
So for example:
Both these values (up to which Street Cred and up to which Max Wanted Level) is what you customize here.
The reason Tiers 1-5 can be toggled ON and OFF is for people who want to have less Tiers.
- 0-25 Street Cred - Max Wanted Level of 3
- 25-50 Street Cred - Max Wanted Level of 5
So for example:You could have only 2 Tiers if you wanted to:
Tier 5 will always assume it's controlling the the band between whatever previous Tier is Enabled and it's Street Creds threshold and the maximum of 50 Street Creds. That is why it does not have a Max Street Cred setting, because it's Max Street Cred is always assumed to be 50.
So if (as seen in the screenshot) Tier 4 controls the Max Wanted Level up to a Max Street Cred of 40, then Tier 5 will assume it's controlling the Max Wanted Level between Street Cred 41 and the maximum 50 that you can obtain in the game.
If Tier 5 is disabled, and (for example) Tier 4 is enabled - then the Tier 4 Max Street Cred threshold is ignored and it is assumed to go up to a Max Street Cred of 50 instead. (Tier 4 effectively becomes Tier 5 (the last tier)). So for example:
If you only have two Tiers enabled: Tier 1 and Tier 2, then the Max Wanted Level set for Tier 2 will ignore it's Max Street Cred setting, and instead that Max Wanted Level will be applied up to a maximum of Street Cred 50 instead (since all other tiers after Tier 2 are disabled, it basically becomes the new "Tier 5" (the last Tier that is supposed to govern Max Wanted Levels up to the maximum Street Cred).
I hope that all makes sense, let me know if there's any questions.
