Firecracker was a +25% damage applied through a separate damage instance, and deactivated ricochet on the equipped weapon. But none of this was ever shown in ui. Its also wasn't conveyed that the same damage bonus was also applied on weapons already possessing explosive rounds, through a deliberate reshuffling of damage instances.
Hackatomy worked through a flat 5% upload chance that performed spendidly on SMGs, but was completely useless on something like the Ashura.
With this mod:
Firecracker
Only causes the explosions on successful hits. Ricochet functionality is retained (if otherwise present).
Damage increase is shown in weapon info.
Doesn't spread the damage on separate instances (if bullets weren't already explosive) to avoid double reduction from enemy armor.
Correctly applies on modded weapons with custom attacks too
Hackatomy
Has variant upload chance, depending on comprehensive "hits per second" calculation. You can expect 100% upload chance from a baseline Ashura, while faster firing weapons will scale down all the way to the previous 5% (working as a minimum chance).
Effects that allow quickhacks to spread will apply to quickhacks from the mod.
