Gear Rework
- Gear four is slightly shorter; gear five takes longer to max. This makes the vehicle feel & sound better to drive on highways/long routes.
Bug Fix
- Fixed an issue causing vanilla cars to disappear alongside having this mod installed.
- Reworked every gear. Each gear now lasts longer, with the overall top speed maxing out at around ~215mph now. I was irritated by how fast the vehicle climbed gears, and how quickly it maxed out in 5th gear. This feels a lot better now!
CrystalCoat Update
- Implemented CrystalCoat 2.0; "Crystal Coat Fix 2.12" is no longer required.
- Thank you CyberDaaN for explaining to me how CrystalCoat 2.0 works.
- If any modders would like help with CrystalCoat, feel free to ask me!
Passenger Seat
- Corrected Johnny’s seating position in the passenger seat.
Native Settings UI
- Revised descriptions for the Native Settings UI.
Visual & Material Improvements
- Corrected rear view mirror bounds.
- Darkened several materials (interior, body trim, matte trim).
- Fixed steering wheel button textures for proper display.
- FINALLY resolved an issue causing wheel blur at high speeds.
- Hopefully corrected window flickering at specific angles.
- Slightly improved tire textures.
- Changed the exhaust (and coilover) chrome material to a stained oil finish.
- Fixed gaps on the underside of the hood that unintentionally allowed visibility through solid components.
- Replaced the generic license plate with a Night City design (@OhneHoffnung, you convinced me...), and as a result reduced the trunk's license plate light intensity.
Menu & Display Updates
- Updated Vehicle Call and Virtual Car Dealership menu images.
Lighting Enhancements
- You can now change all light colors during runtime via the Native Settings UI—no more YAML edits!
- Hid the headlight color wheel in CrystalCoat's GUI.
- Added a reference image to CrystalCoat's GUI.
- Updated various materials including those for the interior, steering wheel, and trunk.
- Updated the tinted glass to eliminate the grey tint in certain lighting conditions—now it looks like actual tinted glass.
- Improved the car paint material.
- Added a glass cover for the exterior trunk light.
- Added tint to the interior face of windows.
- Removed the automatic interior overhead light (due to an unfixable bug where it would get stuck "on" when loading a save while in the vehicle); note that the toggle still exists.
- Adjusted the brakelight intensity to be slightly brighter when idle.
- Fixed an issue causing some wheel elements to appear blurry when the wheels are in motion.
- Fixed an issue with the right leg clipping through the steering wheel.
- Fixed hand positions on the steering wheel and resolved an issue that caused hands to float away during acceleration.
- Fixed an issue with the interior rear view mirror displaying large, blocky reflections.
- Improved UV maps for meshes so that the paint now appears even and not stretched.
- Darkened the materials used for tires and matte components.
- Added starlights to the interior for enhanced ambiance.
- Native Settings UI
- Use the menu to change the light colors, roll the windows down, or set the vehicle's invincibility state. More features are coming soon!

- Hopefully fixed an issue with the cluster appearing pixelated and low-quality sometimes
- Changed the names (and pictures) for the vehicle call & virtual car dealer menu

- Made all windows, lights, hood, and trunk breakable, shatterable, or deformable (realism type shiii)

- This is required for the CrystalCoat hexagonal bubble effect. Without it installed, there will be no cool ass effect when using CrystalCoat.
