If you observe the NPCs and vehicles in the world you will often see them vanishing into thin air, even at distances that aren't very far from the player.
This is a real shame because Night City is such a wonderful sight to behold (not to mention all the enemies you want to snipe within the range of your rifles...)
This mod fixes that immersion-breaking behavior, with virtually no impact on performance. Watch the 1 min video!
No requirements. Simply extract the zip file, then copy the folder into the default Cyberpunk directory and you're done.
The mod only changes minimal spawning behavior of NPC and Vehicles — it's not actually LOD change — and therefore is compatible with other popular LOD / draw distance mods. Check the stickied post for more details!
The values have been carefully adjusted so that the difference should be very noticeable whether you're using low, medium, or high Crowd Density (under Graphics settings), yet the impact on FPS is minimal. There is also a light version available to try.
