While I love the Project E3 HUD as much as the next guy and am a rather patient man (not really, but mkay) - I am not one to sit and wait around until the author (eventually?) releases an update. I am also not the one to suffer design choices that I don't necessarily understand.
So what does this do??
Brings back UI elements that mysteriously went missing: --Speedometer --Weaponized vehicle ammo counter (with E3 styled touch) --Crouch indicator
Reverts to Vanilla: --Health, Stamina and Buff bars --Cyberware quickslots while retaining the E3 color scheme --Scanner Details (with a bit more transparency than vanilla) and Qiuckhack Memory icons - Twintone works!
Recreates (yes, from scratch using vanilla assets) the long forgotten Spicy Huds pre 2.0 ammo counter with the preloader 'PCB' w/ weapon name, smartlink indicator and fixed animations.
Makes input hints extra red to make your eyes bleed.
Humongous motherfucking disclaimer: THIS USES VANILLA ASSETS TO OVERRIDE E3 HUD WIDGETS. Why? Because I felt like it. While this will (partially) work without the E3 HUD and UI, it will look wrong - it is fully intended to be used on top of E3 HUD 2.12b and UI
Other mods I have enabled on the screenshots attached are the E3 map with time and Healthbar Colors from Redux UI by HaywirePhoenix and the crosshair from E3 Crosshair and Weapon HUD Optimization by m7n8b9 , which are available from their respective pages.
