About this mod
Shuffles around some clothing tags so the game doesn't go stuffing wide pant legs into tight shoes. Edits are for masc and fem V.

Imagine for a moment getting into your straightcut jeans (if you don't have any straightcut jeans, just imagine a pair of straightcut jeans, please) and then putting on some sneakers (if you don't have sneakers either, please refer to the bit about the straightcut jeans). Now what do you do? Do you cram your pant legs into your sneakers with full force until the blood supply to your feet completely stops? Wait, you do? Maybe I should stop asking rhetorical questions. Also you may want to talk to a medical professional about that. I don't think stopping the blood supply to your feet is very good for you.
Anyhoo. The point I was trying to make - before you obliterated it - is that cramming wide pant legs into tight shoes is extremely silly. And not the good kind of silly. This mod is my attempt to restore some blood supply to V's feet.
What This Is
When two clothing items "meet" the game uses a set of rules to determine which item goes over the other. These rules include the clothings slot, prefixes and clothing tags. Most shoes and boots are tagged as "large" and most pants are tagged as "normal". Thus the pants go into the shoes. This mod modifies the tags of all shoes that seemed to fit into regular pant legs.
Some pretty tight pants are still tagged as normal, e.g. V's favorite pants. Since those pants crush the shoes if the shoes are forced to go under, this mod modifies the tags of all tight pants to use the "tight" tag.
Finally, to make this all work without crazy stuff happening on fem V's feet (they are raised in all vanilla shoes), all flat shoes/boots get the "FlatShoes" and the "hide_Feet" tags from ArchiveXL.
TL;DR
1. Tight shoes are now tight
2. That makes pant legs go over shoes.
3. Profit
Known Issues
Due to the way this Garment Support stuff works, some combinations of shoes and pants will cause the heels of the shoes to deform a bit on fem V. Nothing much I can do about that. I assume that's why most of the shoes/boots are tagged large to begin with. Because the devs probably couldn't find a way to fix it that wasn't violently expensive/time-consuming.
If you use EquipmentEX it may seem to override the changes in some cases. You'll need to shift around clothes in the slots in those cases and it should still be easier to get the result you want, i.e. pant legs over or under and shirt over oder under the pants.
Obviously this won't affect modded shoes or pants. If you have issues with modded clothes not doing what you expect, please ask the creator if they considered using different visual tags.
Compatibility
This mod overrides quite a few vanilla entity files. The good news is that modders have very little reason to modify these files unless they want to do basically the same thing this mod does.
Installation
Just drop the contents of the zip file into your game's root folder like a caveperson or use a mod manager of your choice.
