About this mod

This mod swaps the hair of Johnny Silverhand for one of two styles of bun; you may choose either a fully tied up or a half-up style. Now works with Johnny's default and/or alternate appearance!

Permissions and credits
Ever wanted to style your brain parasite just a bit? Think Johnny could do with an updo? Then you're in the right place. This mod comes in two flavors of manbun: fully up and half-up.

Updates:
August 20, 2021:
  • Both old files updated to include new patch 1.3 cookedapp files.
  • New files added to allow these hairstyles to be used in place of Johnny's new alternate appearance hairstyle.
June 5, 2021:
  • Both files updated to a remove a patchy spot near the front of the hair.
  • basegame_JohnnyManbunVer1.archive -> basegame_JohnnyManbun_V1.2.archive
  • basegame_JohnnyManbunVer1Long.archive -> basegame_JohnnyManbunLong_V1.1.archive
April 2, 2021:
  • basegame_JohnnyManbunVer1.archive 1.0 -> 1.1: The hair has been updated to fix a spot that looked sort of bald. The long version of the hair didn't have this issue, and thus requires no update.

Styles/Versions:

  • NLD_JohnnyManbun_V1.3.archive : This is the fully tied up style of the hair. Works with Johnny's default appearance.
  • NLD_JohnnyManbun_V1.3_AlternateApp.archive : This is the fully tied up style of the hair. Works with Johnny's alternative appearance.
  • NLD_JohnnyManbunLong_V1.2.archive : This is the half-up style. Works with Johnny's default appearance.
  • NLD_JohnnyManbunLong_V1.2_AlternateApp.archive : This is the half-up style. Works with Johnny's alternative appearance.

Installation:
  • Pick your versions of the mod. You can swap the files at any time without issues, but you can only have one file for each of Johnny's appearances installed at once.
  • Drop the appropriate .archive file(s) into your mod folder. It should be located at Cyberpunk 2077/archive/pc/mod . If you don't have this folder, you can just go ahead and make one.
  • Enjoy!

Uninstallation:

  • Delete the .archive file(s) from your mod folder.

Notes:
I will not be converting this hair for use on either frame of V. Please do not ask if I will. If you are interested in doing the conversion yourself, please feel free to contact me.
