The mod uses Toggle Sprint hotkey as a modifier to a primary hotkey so if you have it rebinded then enable HUDitor mode with <your hotkey> + U instead of Shift + U
If you have Input loader installed then you also can use F7 hotkey for HUDitor mode, it can be reassigned here: Cyberpunk 2077\r6\input\HUDitor.xml (hotkeys reference list available here)
Dialog editing notes - Dummy dialog widget previews (aka colored rectangles) do not work well now, to adjust dialog widgets position more precisely just enable HUDitor editing mode when you have some dialog choices or subtitles active on the screen so you can move the actual widgets itself.
For E3 Compass users - Enable compatibility mode with settings menu
Grid overlay - You can use something like this to display grid over the game UI
Where HUDitor keeps all settings - bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\HUDitor\persistency.json
Great Mod. Works great. Only the text i get when i sit and wait or sleep and wake up later won't move. Is that possible or planed for futur update? Text like: some time later
Jackie Welles: Incoming call, stuck on my screen after using this mod. Hurts man. Also, the "game saveed' widget screen is all black background and blocks my screen when i save
Could it be possible to update the mod so that the coordinates of the HUD edits are not tied to resolution? Currently, every preset breaks when the resolution setting is changed.
I back up my persistency.json for each resolution I play in. Should give that a try - see pinned post for location. I use it for when I game on TV in 1440 or on monitor on 3840xx1600
Is there a way to allow HUDITOR to function properly when in a vehicle? I want to move the vehicle exclusive widgets too, and I currently cannot move them even if I use F7.
I tested the mod and would like to give you some honest feedback. Its proposal is excellent — it is the only HUD mod I have found so far that allows you to resize the widgets, which I consider an extremely necessary feature, since the game's default HUD takes up a lot of unnecessary space on the screen. However, I encountered some difficulties that compromised the initial experience. After installation, the game's HUD becomes completely disorganized, requiring the player to manually reconfigure all the elements. The biggest problem is that not all widgets appear immediately, which forces the player to force certain situations in the gameplay (such as entering combat or being wanted by the police) just to be able to view and position the elements. This makes the process quite time-consuming and unintuitive. In my case, the wanted stars widget did not appear at all, even after forcing the police search system. Overall, I consider the mod fantastic for its proposal, but I believe that with some improvements — such as an automatic initial organization or an option to reset/preview all widgets — it would become indispensable for the community. Furthermore, congratulations on your work! I look forward to future updates!
Confirming! About the wanted stars, I used the Dynamic Wanted Stars mod, and it made them disappear with this mod, I removed the mod and they came back! So now I have them on the screen again!!

That's how the mod works and it will not be changed, if you want vanilla widget position then open mod settings menu and disable HUDitor support for that widget otherwise you must change its position manually.

Most of them will in HUDitor preview mode (including wanted bar) unless you have other mods hiding those, yeah
I think what was frustrating me the most was the wanted stars, but it's been fixed! Now I have a question. Now that I've got the HUD the way I want it, which file should I back up so that if I have to reinstall everything again, when I start the game the HUD will be the way I set it up? Is that possible?
hey the new update fixed the dark message backgrounds but now im getting notifications stuck on my screen also the incoming call accept stays on the screen for longer before disappearing.

NM, figured it out. Didn't realize I had to edit under a few different situations. Standing still, weapons drawn ect...
