Helps framerates a lot in highly populated areas, and also lowers duplicate NPCs and makes them not disappear as soon as you turn around, so seems to still be working fine on v1.62.
It only changes the preset numbers, so it will probably going to work until they change the name of the presets or move it somewhere else which is very unlikely to happen.
It works on 1.5. Load order is important tho: load above any Draw Distance mods or other Crowd mods (add smth like 00_ in front of it's name to achieve that.)
The mod doesn't seem o work (patch 1.5) I mean I thought it worked first when I installed it... but now that I advanced more into the main sorry...the streets seem empty...a couple of pedestrians and a car once in a while... I don't know what to say...in the middle of the city it kind of works...lots of cars lots of pedestrians...but in the outer neighborhoods it is empty :( P.S. After further testing...i can confirm it doesn't work (at least for me, patch 1.5) But I found a similar mod that works with patch 1.5 : Improved Traffic_NPCs Draw Distance and density
what kind of testing did you do? I have the save file in the video for my testing and it still spawns NPC's where the vanilla setting doesn't. And CDPR already explained why outer areas is almost empty compared to the city.

Cheers!
This is pointless when crowd density is already on high. WHere are the mods to increase crowd density when already on high.
Heywood Vista Del Ray is completely empty at noon on high crowd settings

Is it possible to know the crowd number differences between low - medium and high ?
Would it be possible to have something between high and medium ?
mod 150 - 250 - 400.
Would it be possible to have a medium around 300-320 ?
