Can you please tell which mods did you used to make her look like this? I mean, for complexion, eyes, hair quality, etc. Cause my Lucy looks kinda scuffed XD
ok, so since there is no one clear instruction, here goes: HOW TO MAKE A LUCY LOOKALIKE V. guide for dummies. JAN 2023 edition.
1 - you need A1 lucy's face & body preset file: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/5324?tab=files A2 wet skin visual enhancement: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/874?tab=files take the 50% one (two other files from this mod, lipstick & skin mods are NOT needed - they do nothing anyway, maybe don't work) AND B1-4 mods from here: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/4621?tab=files AND to make these ^ all work you need also these: C: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/4198 D: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/4197 E: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/5176 F: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/718
2 - first, install the pre-requisites C, D, E and F: C, D and E - just download the .rar archives containing them and extract each archive to Cyberpunk2077 folder F, the save editor, doesn't matter where you extract that .exe file, can be downloads folder or desktop, you don't need to keep it afterwards either
3 - have a cyberpunk2077 game save file (sav.dat) on your computer if you've been saving your games in a cloud, disable it for now so that gog/steam/whatever will save your game saves on your computer, so that you have an actual save.dat file on your computer. locate the folder with game save folders. identify the ONE save file which you want to modify with lucy's outfit.
4 - download and extract the face preset, hair & make up files: A1 - download and extract the V-Lucy.preset to a temporary location A2 and B2 are .rar files containing modded content .archive files which need to be extracted to the Cyberpunk2077/mods location B1 archive with lucy's hair style should be extracted to Cyberpunk2077 directory
5 - tweak the game save file to make your v look like lucy (add lucy's features): open the game save editor > load your sav.dat game save (see step #3) > your save will load up in save editor, you will see your v's stats in the save editor > click the "appearance" tab > select & load the "V-Lucy.preset" file (default setting will show only look for .v2preset files, you need to select the filetype .preset in the drop down menu for the V-Lucy.preset file to show up) > this appearance will NOT load in the game save editor - nothing will change visibly in the program - you will only get the note at the bottom that the appearance was loaded > save changes (left bottom button) > it will open a prompt to save as a new game save file > name it however you want > go to folder with your modified save game file and swap old & unmodified game save for the new & modified one (change the name of the new file to old file's name)
7 - open up the game - now you will be greeted by your v looking like lucy (body & face preset + make up working)
8 - add the hair & outfit items to your inventory: in the game, call up the Cyber Tweak & open up the console, copy & paste: Game.AddToInventory("Items.hair_00_lucy",1) Game.AddToInventory("Items.Shirt_01_basic_01",1) Game.AddToInventory("Items.Pants_09_basic_01",1) Game.AddToInventory("Items.Boots_01_basic_01",1) Game.AddToInventory("Items.Vest_08_basic_01",1) and hit enter. ^ this will add the hair, clothes & boots items to your inventory. yes, the hair is an add on item - it's a legendary head gear, works like a hat or a helmet, has armour to it and you can upgrade it like any legendary item - the hair spawned right there and then after adding to the inventory, you can equip it. ACHTUNG! do not freak out that the clothes do not look like lucy's clothes in inventory miniatures. if you equip them, they will look OK, just the miniatures are of the original clothes which the modder replaced with lucy's outfit models. apparently they didn't change the miniature's thumbnail image. if you have installed the prerequisites correctly, these clothes will render correctly as lucy's outfit _on_equip_.
Hi, I did everything as you said, V-Lucy.preset installed, everything works in the game, changed clothes added, but I can't put it on, and hair is not added. What to do?
i'll try to troubleshoot with you, first just to check: - you do have the Cyber Engine Tweak & ArchiveXL installed, and you were able to call CET on your screen in the game no prob, and no issues pulling the console and copy+paste the add to inventory commands, correct? - no error message in the console, and the clothes did in fact add to your inventory in the game? (should be in the backpack, thats the inventory) - was there any difference between adding the clothes and the hair items? - in this location: Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod >> you should have the following archives (these are the data files for those items you want to add): Edgerunners_Lucy_Clothes_Heladios.archive Edgerunners_Lucy_Hair_xBaebsae.archive Edgerunners_Lucy_Hair_xBaebsae.xl Edgerunners_Lucy_Jacket_xBaebsae.archive Edgerunners_Lucy_Makeup_SmallSandayu.archive (and also these, actually: ANRUI_LucyLipstickColor.archive ANRUI_LucyLipstickShape.archive) ^ got all of them in this location?
if clothes spawn in the game, but you can't put them on, that's plain weird, i'd first try a restart and then check the co-dependencies, ArchiveXL in particular (that's the one that enables non vanilla clothes and such). if things don't spawn despite the pre-requisites being in place AND the data files (hair archive) being in place, i'd double check if everything's in the right locations, restart the game, and if that still won't help any, i'd actually try doing a clean install of the co-dependencies and the data files. if that still doesn't help, can be these are conflicting with some other mods you might have there - in which case i'd suggest a clean install of the game AND of the mods both. that definitely should help, but that's the "nuke all" resolution. (if that won't help, i'm truly outta ideas).
additional piece of possibly useful advice: at very first, i couldn't understand these clothes were on equip (basically like any clothes you'd loot in the game) so i installed Appearance Manager Mod thinking that might help, and it added one more console on screen which showed me that these clothes spawned correctly from the lines i was inputting into CET console log. -maybe-, just maybe, if there is anything wrong with the hair spawn (like, it's not spawning rn for you, that's wrong) it would show you why, give you an error message of any sort.
i had no issues, but that's unsurprising since i do run a clean install of only 2 days, and have added 30 mods, which isn't too little but also not as much as other people use.
It happens to me too @Hoovan, I was able to just equip 1 item But I guess... it's because I just started playing the game. Maybe I/we have to play a bit more to unlock the gearing system? I was able to equip 1 of the items and the skin works well, it's the... (I don't know, my English is a bit bad) the thingy where you put the ammo for your guns over your chest !
Did everything as usual, but my appearance don't look like lucy at all, sure it has changed but the details are day and nights apart, am i missing something? just the face alone, the hair clothes etc can wait.
The only file to download only contain a 2kb lucy preset, or am i missing something
I have all the files, im also using vortex so I know things are in the right locations I manually checked them as well but when I spawn the items in game they are the base game values/looks and not lucy's outfit idk what I did wrong
@DuncanMCgill if hair has requirements for you, it must be because of some other mod - this hair HAS NO level requirement. seems like a level scaling mod.
@Showycolt63 it's actually written in the instruction i penned, please read it past the "file downloading" part :)
@dababay i just enumerated the mods as i was introducing them by name so that later i can refer to them using short keywords instead of their full names (especially since these names are descriptive and repetitive). b1-4 means i called those mods (it's a 4 in 1 mod) "b" and to make things clear i wrote about all 4 pieces of that mod, so b from 1 till 4. if still unclear maybe this description will be somehow clearer.
The face and clothes all work, i can spawn and wear the clothes but the hair wont spawn in, i dont get any error codes or anything. I followed everything step by step twice and still cant get the hair?
I fucking love you my dude, if I could give you an award for being so good at explaining things I would, I didn't think I would find help like yours ever in my life but I did
I have followed the steps above, Fresh game, not moved from the first room (corpo) After saving the game from save editor, into its own folder, i then copy all the save folder items and replace the manual save with them. or remove .old save if i save into the original manual save..I have not had to rename it as its just called Sav.dat either way, after loading and pressing space bar i get "An error has occurred, please refer to the log for more information" not sure what im doing wrong..i require crayons obviously! patch 2.1 no DLC.
Cocojams, freedomklr, Dreamwalka, Hi if yall are still here. You could try to put the downloaded files (Edgerunners_Lucy_Hair\r6\tweaks\xbaebsae\Ederunners_Lucy_Hair.yaml) into your game folder Cyberpunk 2077\r6\tweaks\xbaebsae\
It fixes the hair spawning issue for me. Tested this in 2.1 with DLC, 05 Jan 2024.
FIX TO SHADOW T POSING!! Download: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/6945?tab=description 1- First you must remove both the lucy hair mods from your archive-mod directory and leave them on your desktop home. 2- make sure the Equipment EX mod is downloaded and load into your save file with lucy without the hair mods. remove the entire outfit fully and confirm the shadow is fully fixed and back to normal shadow. 3- save the game with the full outfit removed so youre fully naked skin then close the game and add both the lucy hair mods back to the archive-mods directory. 4- load back into the game and go to your apartment mirror and change hairstyle to number 50 (should be bald one) then go to your wardobe in the apartment and open it. in that menu screen the goal is to basically place the hair item in the outer-torso slot instead of head because thats whats causing the T pose issue. So in that menu youll see the hair option in the head area MAKE SURE NOT TO CLICK IT OR ELSE WILL RESTART FROM STEP 1, YOU MUST LONG PRESS F OVER IT so it will open up the custom mod menu where you can now click the hair and set it to your outer torso spot. The reason for that spot is nothing else is taking it up so it perfectly fits in there with the full lucy outfit. 5- save the outfit named as something like "Lucy" or whatever u want and enjoy the game without that trash t pose shadow. Youre welcome :D
HOLY CRAP, YOU ARE A LIFESAVER! Ok, there is also something else I found out. So, let's say you equip all of the clothing and save the outfit as "Lucy". Usually, you can equip other individual clothing without changing the look (because you are still wearing "Lucy" outfit). For example, you wanna equip a Face that give a combat stat. If you try this, the shadow reverts back to T-posing, even though the Face has nothing to do with the outfit. Now even if you remove the face, your character will still T-pose. If you remove the outfit, your character is still T-posing. Basically, you are stuck T-posing and have to repeat all the reset steps over again. However, there is a way around this. If you unequip the "Lucy" outfit, THEN equip combat gears, THEN equip "Lucy" outfit again, you won't be T-posing. It is tedious, but it allows you to get combat stat, look like Lucy, and not be T-posing.
It doesn't go anywhere far as I can tell, so anywhere you want to keep it.
I opened the save editor, loaded my current save (made a back-up just in case), and under the "appearance" tab there is a "load preset" button and I went to the folder I had the preset file located. I had to click the dropdown in the bottom right (in the file explorer window that pops up) and under the "open" button I selected the 2nd drop down and I saw the preset file. Clicked and then in the save editor window, bottom left, it said "Appearance preset loaded".
If you use Appearance Change Unlocker, you can change your preset in-game. The mod page tells you where to put presets. Otherwise just open them with save editor.
If you're on a fresh save, you can't change clothes until you start the first job with Jackie. Kept getting action blocked except for the hair and jacket at the beginning.

1 - you need
A1 lucy's face & body preset file: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/5324?tab=files
A2 wet skin visual enhancement: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/874?tab=files take the 50% one
(two other files from this mod, lipstick & skin mods are NOT needed - they do nothing anyway, maybe don't work)
AND
B1-4 mods from here: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/4621?tab=files
AND to make these ^ all work you need also these:
C: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/4198
D: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/4197
E: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/5176

2 - first, install the pre-requisites C, D, E and F:
C, D and E - just download the .rar archives containing them and extract each archive to Cyberpunk2077 folder
F, the save editor, doesn't matter where you extract that .exe file, can be downloads folder or desktop, you don't need to keep it afterwards either

7 - open up the game - now you will be greeted by your v looking like lucy (body & face preset + make up working)
8 - add the hair & outfit items to your inventory:
in the game, call up the Cyber Tweak & open up the console, copy & paste:
Game.AddToInventory("Items.hair_00_lucy",1)
Game.AddToInventory("Items.Shirt_01_basic_01",1)
Game.AddToInventory("Items.Pants_09_basic_01",1)

@Kokun999 i'm not a modder, why?
@TrixyJinx yeah cause this is just about hair, clothes and make up, this is not a face preset and won't do anything to the face settings.
