Blur Begone targets supposedly translucent/transparent objects that have been plagued with blur and reduces or removes the blur effect. Some items and meshes will have additional material properties changed, such as curtains and plastics, to increase their refraction values for more realism. Not all blur will be removed (and some blur can't be)! Some items should remain blurred for realism and to hide what CDPR wanted to keep hidden: low res or low poly areas that aren't appealing.

NOTE: Blur Begone doesn't require Material & Texture Override! 😊

I am aiming to refine the transparent and translucent surfaces by tweaking additional properties alongside the reduction of blur in order to produce a more realistic visual; specular highlights, surface reflectivity, and refraction are just a few of the changes. Here is a comparison:



Please create a bug report if something isn't working correctly.

Installation:

Use Vortex (recommended) or manually install by just dragging and dropping the contents of the zip to the Cyberpunk 2077 root folder.

  • For GOG it should be something like "C:\Games\Cyberpunk 2077\[it goes here]
  • For Steam it should be something like "C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\[it goes here]
