(You want this even without GITS) Weather in 2077 remains bugged in 2024. Use this to reset, or change, the weather when you encounter a bug or as you please.
HARD REQUIREMENT: LEGACY VERSION AIO. I do not guarantee it's gonna look well with any other LUT. Serve the guy/girl some coffee, they fully deserve it.

OR NOT... BECAUSE READING IS HARD, SO I'LL JUST THROW SOME PRETTY PICTURES AT YOUR FACE AND WRITE THE INFO AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE.

The following images are all with Path Tracing active.
SUMMING UP GITS v. VANILLA:
Not only will this make your game look better; YOU will look better.
That's right, Booey Interprises patented graphics technology will make you more attractive to the sex(es) of your choosing. It's not only better than vanilla, it's better than Maybelline.
SPECIAL VFX:
reLIGHT
Local lights illuminate car interiors, all of them, not just a few highway lights like Vanilla.
Ample indeed. ONLY FOR VANILLA VEHICLES AT THIS TIME.
Real lighting for holograms. Yes, that includes joytoys and the Evelyn clouds scene.
Several MB H10 doors don't cast light, so I made malfunctioning bulbs for them. Attention to detail, guys. They blink!
Powerful muzzle flashes that create quite the spectacle at night, especially in the rain.
H10 V Apartment Light. I'm one of the saps that couldn't get Sosuine's mod to work, so I made my own using different materials. Compatible with Next Gen LODs and E3 Smart Window/Stock System. - will do a patch for the smart window shadow later. Perfect (or is it) Rain Effect.
GITS exclusive branch of Sosuine's Improved (or is it) Rain Effect mod.
reGLASS
True 3D glass with interior vehicle reflections. Extra iMmErSiVe when used in tandem with reLIGHT.
reMEDIA
Only included with the AIO version.
reLIGHT FIXES:
wh..what? Why are you glowing?
Stop doing that!
Uhhh.. what?
Stop it...
I said stop it!
STAHP!!
Visual Menu:
LEGACY - The original mod. Color grading and atmosphere inspired by the 2017 live action film, and the 1995 anime adaption, respectively. Weather favoring rain and overcast.
FUJI - Soft light spreading accented by crisp value contrast and vibrant hues, inspired by the Standalone Complex series. Greater rain variance than vanilla, but fairly balanced weather.
KURIA - The most "natural" GITS. Capturing the gameworld colors while maturing select hues to mitigate the gamey look. Greater rain variance than vanilla, but fairly balanced weather.
SHOWA - A personal detour. Taking inspiration from a peculiar film print with mature tones and rich contrast. Greater rain variance than vanilla, but fairly balanced weather.
Ensure that vehicle appearance mods, including "Improved Vehicle Lights Draw Distance", load AFTER GITS. It's necessary for reLIGHT to function, only a few vehicles are impacted.
Other enhancements included mitigating RT Sun/Sky reflections during overcast/rain weather, removing PT GI bounce from cloudy/overcast weather, darker nights, vignette removal, internal sharpening removal, forced noise in photomode removal, more appropriate sun/local shadow attenuation with RT/PT, etc, etc. BIG GRAPHICS. There are two AIO options. Each contains the weather/lighting, color grading, all of the above mentioned features. With GITS AIO installed you do not need any of these individual mods.
There are FOUR standalone Color Grading (LUT) options and TWO standalone lighting mod(ENV) option. The first optional ENV includes all of the VFX mods as well.
If you want a GITS ENV mod without the VFX enhancements, you can find the second "basic" version in the optional files section. That file includes it's own degraded RTXDIY config as well.
The above mentioned "basic" version includes reLIGHT, Perfect Rain, and Metro Glass. Their inclusion is not up for discussion.
All of the files per category are given the same name for YOUR CONVENIENCE so you can swap without having to uninstall when you want to try a different version of file X or Y. Therefore; It's on YOU to remember which version of what file YOU installed.
This is a fidelity oriented mod. However; I have included optional files to reduce performance impact/artifacts under certain circumstances for smol PC gamers, but I have no interest in changing the AIO mod files for any reason beyond my own taste or bug fixes . "Hey, could you...?" - NO. Have other mods this conflicts with? You can properly reorganize the loading order yourself with THIS.
A misc. file titled "(less) Perfect Rain" is available for those who are bothered by the flickering artifacts during transition that can occur. Not compatible with the most recent version of "Improved (or is it) Rain - This was not made with GITS in mind and as a result it "glows", this is why I made my own branch of Sosuine's mod. This is not a reshade. Throw this in your installation folder - simple as. ARCHIVE XL IS A HARD REQUIREMENT. INCOMPATIBILITIES: GITS uses it's own branch of Improved (or is it) Rain Effect - not compatible, any bugs you incur are of your own doing. E3 Apartment Window.
The AIO version is not compatible with any mod that edits the game's lighting or weather in any way. Easy examples such as NCLM, Constant Rain, any E3 lighting mod, Eye Adaptation Auto Exposure Fix, Optimized Raytracing Overdrive Optimizations, etc.
