Changelogs
Version 1.02
There has been a longstanding bug since release that would make the player log grow enormous during the Castle Necromoghan phase of this questline. It is now fixed. Thanks to Cliffworms for the report.
Version 1.01b
Now Vortex-compatible.
Version 1.01a
No new content, but this is now a .dfmod file that can be installed like any other mod. Requires DFU 1.1.1 to use, as well as Quest Actions Extension by Jagget. Daggerfall Enemy Expansion adds more features but is not required.
Version 1.01
Step 6 of this quest (anti-resurrection branch) had a minor typo in the quest log. It is now fixed. Thanks to Cabra for reporting it.
Version 1.0
Initial upload.
I hope you enjoy this short campaign, "The Chronicle of the Great Knight." It requires character level 12, and will start on any new character.
If you wish to attempt it on an existing character, run the following command in the console:
startquest JH_CGK1
Assuming the game locates it properly, it should run, and activate once the character is level 12 or higher.
Q: Lord Magnessen and Galnas rotate between male and female sprites.
A: I can't change that. It's a limitation in the DFU engine. If anyone wants to hard-code that capability, I'll use it.
Q: How do I know that this campaign has ended?
A: There's a specific ending screen included with a reward, so until you see that, it's not "over" yet.
Q: How long is this?
A: It involves about four dungeons, so it's a short/mid-sized campaign. Maybe about 1/3 of the Daggerfall main quest, by comparison.
