A modified config file that removes bad outcomes from most of curios.

The game is difficult enough as it is without having to worry about the rewards giving you grief too. I decided to try something simple to lessen the hardship while still keeping the mechanics and the gameplay intact.
This is a modified curio_type_library.csv config file that removes most of the bad results from the curios. I've left the 4 or 5 curios that always have bad outcomes unchanged in order to somewhat preserve the lore and avoid introducing bugs. You'll have to peruse the modded file itself or check This Steam Curio Guide to find out which curios are the always-bad-outcome ones. I followed the Official Red Hook Studios Modding Guide to make changes to the file. I tested it a bit, but there may be errors in it, so be sure to backup the original before replacing or further modifying it. Drop a comment if you find a bug and I'll try to fix it. You simply have to replace the <installdir>/Steam/steamapps/DarkestDungeon/curios/curio_type_library.csv file with this one.
