- Permissions and credits
This is the All in One mod to Improve your Move! And your Mood.
Features:
- Crouch toggle so you don't have to hold the key to stay crouched/stealthy!
- Regular backwards speed (same as forwards) !
- No more slippin n slidin when you should come to a full stop!
- Faster crouch speed so you're sneaking, not crawling!
- More subtle "roll" left or right when you strafe!
- And many more!
- (actually no more, that's the full list)
Moar Detail? Ok!
Crouch Toggle - you no longer have to hold down the key to stay crouched, set to the C key (Syntax obtained for this from the Crouch Lock mod by Acleacius)
Normal Backwards - Makes the backwards speed of your character faster, almost the same as forwards
Real Stop - Takes the extra slide out of your step when you stop.
Faster Crouch - Makes the stealth crouch a little faster, but not too fast. (updated to work with diagonal movement)
Less Roll - Largely reduces the roll effect when strafing. (to remove completely just set sv_rollangle 0)
Install:
Step 1
Download and Extract the file to [game location]/mm/cfg
For example this could likely be:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dark Messiah Might and Magic Single Player\mm\cfg
Note If you are using Unlimited Edition, then Extract to [game location]/mm_root/cfg
Step 2 (Important!)
You MUST add the following to your startup option for the game!
In Steam you right click on your game, select Properties, and enter the following text under Launch Options:
+exec movement.cfg
Notes:
You can easily experiment with the values in the .cfg file. Use any text editor like Notepad to open .cfg file and edit to your heart's content.
From there you can change the binding for Crouch Toggle to something other than 'c' if desired.
If you don't like faster sneaking, you can lower the hl2_duck parameters below 100
