About this mod
Just a quick reshade preset. This is specifically for game-play, not screen-archery.

2. Download reshade, run it & select Darksiders1 and DirectX11
3. Select my preset ini & let the installation do its thing.
4. Go to this github page, and download the newest shader source code zip. Copy the contents of that zip file's Shaders folder into your Darksiders reshade shaders folder (Darksiders Warmastered Edition\reshade-shaders\Shaders)
5. Launch the game, skip the reshade tutorial, and make sure it's using my preset.
6. Go into your Darksiders settings and under Video Options click Defaults. Under Game options, click on Advanced Options. In the Advanced Options menu, set Texture Filtering to 16x Anisotropic, Texture Quality to Very High, and Anti-Aliasing to None.
Yes, you can leave Chromatic Aberration on. It just makes me nauseous so I don't use it.
7. Present your soul to my all-consuming maw.

"My game's super crusty now, how fix?!"
Go into the reshade settings & select performance mode on the bottom right. You might as well also enable Load Only Enabled Effects in the settings tab. You could also lower the texture filtering or texture quality, but that's pretty gross.
"How much does this preset affect performance?"
It's barely noticeable for me, and my pc is incredibly crusty. I actually made this preset with performance in mind, so there's no performance heavy effects.
"The screenshots look different than my game."
Open your reshade menu and confirm that Panda_Lut.png is the image it's using. Go into the reshade textures folder and make sure the image is actually there. If that's not it, your settings are probably different than mine.
"There's a weird overlay on some cutscenes, how fix?"
Yeah, that's the AO. You can either hotkey it and turn it off during cutscenes, or download the earliest version of my preset. To my knowledge there's nothing I can do to fix that.
"My game keeps crashing now!"
Turn off your Steam overlay. If that doesn't work, go into your darksiders folder (steam\steamapps\common\Darksiders Warmastered Edition) and rename dxgi.dll to d3d11.dll
"My antivirus is freaked out by Reshade!"
That's normal. Reshade basically acts like a virus when it hooks into a game. This is fairly common for a lot of mod stuff (*cough* SKSE *cough*)
Reshade is completely safe, as long as you download it from the official website.
