Faild at Restoring Knight Artorias Armor

didn't turnout the way i wanted it to... the 3d mesh also has the damage detail and can't be restored, specially the helm and leggings(side note: use Silver Knight Leggings) and i know the cape looks horrible wasn't working on it only metal was the focus before i scraped the idea...

    Hi. I'm already restoring Artorias Armor and I'm almost done with torso. You can check my files on Dark Souls Nexus.

      its impossible to restore it, not talking about removing rust... the 3d mesh has huge chunks missing, the helm has a scar and a missing horn the leggings seem to have melted and fused to the legs, the chest piece has a gash at its back the shoulder also has a scar, i restored 80 % of the torso and gloves that was the extent that i was able to do with the textures... with out excess to the mesh it can't be done, if you can do it go for it...

      You are right, 3d model was made with those flaws on purpose. The best one can do, if strives for restoration, as you said, is to fix textures, remove rust etc. I'll try out leggings and what ever it could be done to fix them. Torso seems to have skirt like add-on. Making it look right will require some testing-editing.

      have look at Silver Knight Leggings for a reference, and skirt would be a really bad idea in my opinion... the player character has no physics skirts and capes look horrible

      Wow, that's realy nice art. Who's the author?
      I've tried Artorias leggings but 3d model is too skimpy. Silver Knight leggings fit better.

    the artorias armor is so badly damaged, it looks so fucking ugly, especially the leggins, i've put it for 1 hour and never put it back on, what a deception, hope you find a way to restore that s#*!

      in my opinion its one the most badass armor in the game, but yeah those leggings suck and makes your legs look like chicken feet, you can use the sliver knight leggings they look great with Artorias Armor
