About this mod

A simple mod that changes covenant rank progress requirements to be more reasonable.

SUMMARY

Some covenants have ridiculous high requirements to progress your ranking, Brotherhood of Blood and Blue Sentinels both requires 500 points *each* to reach their respectives rank 3 (and each arena death removes one point on Brotherhood of Blood), and bell keepers require 100. This mod aims to make that more reasonable to achieve, by allowing you to choose from a variety of requirements to better suit your needs.

POSSIBLE REQUIREMENTS
*NOTE: The only thing that's changing is the amount of X needed to progress your ranking, X being whatever each Covenant needs to progress it, X is unchanged by this mod.*

- 1 - 2 - 3
- 5 -10 - 15
- 10 - 20 - 30
- 10 - 25 - 50
- 25 - 50 -100

AFFECTED COVENANTS
*NOTE:
There's one file that ignores this and overrides ALL covenants to make all of them extremely easy if that's what you're looking for*

- Brotherhood of Blood
- Blue Sentinels
- Bell Keepers

INSTALLATION

METHOD 1:

Simply replace the 'enc_regulation.bnd.dcx' on your game folder by the mod one. Keep a backup of the original one. Each different rank requirement has a unique 'enc_regulation.bnd.dcx' file, be sure to choose the one you want correctly.
*UNINSTALL: Replace the modded file with the original one*

METHOD 2:

Simply put the modded 'enc_regulation.bnd.dcx' file inside the mod folder of your Mod Engine. You can get Mod Engine for Dark Souls 2 here -> Mod Engine for Dark Souls II
*UNINSTALL: Delete all Mod Engine files and mod folder*

ONLINE USE

It's possible that this mod can get you banned, use it at your own risk. My recommendation is to get the needed interactions to reach the rank you want without the mod (considering the modded requirements, of course), then go offline, install the mod and talk to the covenant leader. This should get you to the rank you want, and then you can uninstall the mod. Not completely risk free though, as always.

MERGING

I have a tutorial on how to merge regulation files for Dark Souls II mods here ->
