About this mod
This mod transforms and enhances the initial areas of Dark Souls II, specifically Majula and the Forest of the Fallen Giants, with the goal of expanding to all of the game's environments in the future. It offers a new visual and exploration experience from its earliest stages.

Key Features:
Environmental Redesign: The Majula and Forest of Fallen Giants environments have been reworked, providing a new aesthetic. While the intention is to make changes to all environments in Dark Souls II, they are currently only available in these two initial areas.
Visual Improvements: Improved textures, new geometry, and lighting adjustments for deeper immersion.
Compatibility: This mod is only compatible with the Scholar of the First Sin version of Dark Souls II.
Installation:
- Download the mod from the link provided on this page.
Make sure you have the "Scholar of the First Sin" version of Dark Souls II installed. - Install the latest version of DS2LightingEngine
- Create a backup of the "ds2le_atmosphere_presets" folder so you don't lose the default preset or another preset you're using
- Create a backup of the "tex_override" folder if you're using any texture packs, as they could cause conflicts
- Unzip the mod into the DS2 game directory
- Enjoy!
This mod is in its beta phase, so there may be some bugs or incompatibilities. Please report any issues in the comments section.
Compatibility with other mods is not guaranteed.
