Download enhanced co-op from the files tab

Download painted worlds from here:
Painted Worlds at Dark Souls 3 Nexus - Mods and Community

Right click enhanced coop and click extract all then click extract on the window that pops up

Right click painted worlds and click extract all then extract on the window that pops up

In the enhanced co-op folder you just extracted rename "dinput8.dll" to "modengine.dll" and move all the files into your game folder

If asked, click replace files in the destination

Now go to the painted worlds folder you just extracted and move all the files into your game folder

Go to your game folder and open LazyLoad.ini

In this file scroll down until you see [CHAINLOAD] and where it says "dll= " type the following:
 modengine.dll (including the space)

Run the game
