About this mod

- A simple overhaul mod based around more difficult melee combat and forcing the use of predetermined builds to enhance replayability.
- All classes are softlocked at level 40 and are built from the default classes, functioning like a more traditional RPG.
- You'll be forced to use your class gear, but can get powerful rings as you go!

Turning DS3 into a Dark Fantasy RPG 

- A simple overhaul mod based around more difficult melee combat and forcing the use of predetermined builds to enhance replayability.
- All classes are softlocked at level 40 and are built from the default classes, functioning like a more traditional RPG.
- "Leveling" is instead done through powerful rings acquired at bonfires throughout the game, in addition to each class's unique ring.
- Shops will be unavailable, so plan accordingly. You will only be using the gear you started the game with!
- NG+ scaling is applied from the beginning (NG = NG+, NG+ = NG+2, etc.) with NG+7 being even harder in order to make combat more difficult.
- Start with 5 Estus, 5 Green Blossom, 1 Ashen Estus, 2 Undead Bone Shards, a Coiled Sword Fragment, and gear unique to a class of your choosing.
- Most non-consumable items (mainly upgrade materials and equipment) and enemy drops are removed to force more skillful combat and build adherence. (Except special rings)
- Souls are now used solely to purchase consumables to aid you.

- Custom Dark Fantasy ReShade preset by me with virtually zero performance impact on modern systems. 
  Use High graphics on 5 (or any brightness) for the intended experience.
- Ariandel is BLINDING with this v1 of this reshade due to the Levels FX, which was removed in v1.1.
- Shadow Mod by rundev: https://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls3/mods/1571. Set shadows to OFF, HIGH or MAX for best results.
- Embers Always Active by EldenModder: https://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls3/mods/1720. Ember drops are removed.

New Ring Stats and Location: (X Denotes being placed in-game)
Rings are your only intended way of getting stronger oustside of weapon upgrades. Each class has their own starter ring
and there are 3 other ring types to equip (and the bonfires they are at).
- Life Ring: 
- +25% Health and Stamina (Undead Settlement) X
- +50% Health and Stamina (Profaned Capital) X
- +75% Health and Stamina (Unobtainable)
- Speckled Stoneplate Ring: Dmg Negation up by 
- 20% (Cleansing Chapel) X
- 30% (The Dreg Heap - DLC2) X
- Ring of Steel Protection: Increase all damage types by 
- 40% (Road of Sacrifices) X
- 60% (Lothric Castle) X
- 120% (Unobtainable)
- Estus Upgrades (Vanilla):

- Profaned Capital (Bone Shard)
Other Map Changes:
- Cemetary of Ash has a couple Lothric Knights now (one of which is a good boi).
- Removed some dogs from the run to the Chapel because HOLY HELL!
- Removed the circle of Jailers in the dungeon because who at fromsoft allowed that!?
- Storm Ruler's damage is nerfed to be less than other weapons so it isn't viable outside of Yhorm.
- Removed the army before Lothric and Lorian since everyone runs past it anyway.
Planned Features:
- Maybe mess with bonfire placements
- Add invader NPCs for every class
Bugs:
- Alva gave 6M souls for some reason
