This is a light overhaul mod which rebalances features in the game, adjusts features that are annoying in vanilla, and opens the world up more.

Rings
  • Ever so slightly nerfed Havel Ring and added a tiny stamina regeneration penalty
  • Nerfed Ring of Favor and Protection
  • Buffed Tiny Being Ring
  • Reduced health penalty of Dusk Crown Ring
  • Buffed East Wood Grain Ring
  • Oranged Charred Ring slightly boosts fire protection
  • Increased threshold of Blue Tearstone Ring
  • Buffed Ring of the Evil Eye
  • Slightly buffed Speckled Stoneplate Ring and included physical protection
  • Calamity Ring places player at 20% HP, instead of double damage, to instantly get within Red Tearstone Ring range
  • Old Witch Ring boosts fire attack
  • Increased sell value of rings to Frampt
  • Covenant rings will be addressed in a later update

Shields
  • Grass Crest Shield physical damage defense nerfed slightly
  • Effigy Shield has slightly boosted magic defense
  • Crystal Ring Shield has slightly buffed magic defense
  • Crystal Ring Shield projectile buffed
  • Red and White Shield slightly buffed
  • Caduceus Shield slightly buffed
  • Bonewheel Shield does doubled damage

Weapons
  • Velka's Rapier has minor faith scaling
  • Darkmoon Bow has minor int scaling
  • Whips do slightly more damage
  • Whips do double stamina and poise damage
  • Grant strength requirement reduced to 40
  • Smough's Hammer strength requirement reduced to 50
  • Occult weapons have increased faith scaling
  • Black Knight Halberd damage is slightly nerfed
  • Channeler's Trident has a much higher chance of dropping

Armor
  • Thorns armor does doubled damage
Magic
  • Vow of Silence has increased duration and range
  • Tranquil Walk of Peace has increased duration and range, but less uses
  • Magic Shields last 45 seconds, but has less uses
  • Darkmoon Blade has more uses
  • Sunlight Blade has more uses
  • Aurao Decoy has increased duration and range
  • Undead Rapport renamed to Hypnotic Flame and has increased duration, and works on many more enemies
Consumables
  • Alluring Skull has increased duration and works on many more enemies
  • Dung Pies do doubled toxic damage
  • Rotten Pine Resin do doubled poison damage
  • Fire Keeper Souls when consumed gain 10 humanity and 25k soul
Bosses
  • Pinwheel has doubled health
  • Bed of Chaos has far less breakable floors, but no longer saves progress in the fight because of how much easier it is.

Gifts
  • Divine Blessings give 3 instead of 1
  • Binoculars replaced with Gold Pine Resin
World Changes
General
  • Gold fogwalls are completely removed so you can access more areas sooner. The Nito and Bed of Chaos bonfire can be warped from to compensate.

Duke's Archives
  • Moved Avelyn to a reasonable location

Demon Ruins
  • Re-arranged locations of Capra and Taurus demons
  • Minor Capra Demons have buffed health
  • Chaos Ember is slightly more accessible

Lost Izalith
  • Stone Demons in the main Izalith Building replaced by single Titanite Demons
  • Dragon Legs are far less common and drop more souls and a dragon scale
  • Bonfire moved closer to the Bed of Chaos
  • Illusory wall temple replaced by a chest
  • Chaos Eaters remain in the sewers


Installation
  • First install ModEngine2, put the folder into your mods folder and remember to include it in the .toml file
  • This mod will not be compatible with any mod that updates events, maps, params, or talk scripts
  • Highly recommend starting on a new save

Next Update
  • Next update will make Seek Guidance reveal hidden summon signs across the world, and include new invasions.
