About this mod
For convenience, this is a packaged version of BepInEx (IL2CPP) 6.0.0-be.674 for Dave the Diver.
- Permissions and credits
This is just copy of the BepInEx loader required for running all mods for this game. It is specifically for Windows 64bit and IL2CPP (not Mono) games (like Dave the Diver). Other OS users must use the installation guides on the BepInEx GitHub page.
If you want to download directly from BepInEx, note that the latest v6 IL2CPP "pre-1" release does *NOT* work with Dave the Diver (at least it did not when I checked just before posting this. This version (6.0.0-be.674) is an older version I happened to have for another game that still works. v6 and IL2CPP are constantly changing and very bleeding edge... and, as such, tend to break easily. All that to say, this version works, and you'll likely have some trouble finding another one that does. Hence my posting of this one =)

Installation
- In your Steam interface, right-click the Dave the Diver game link => Manage => Browse local files.
- Download "BepInEx.zip" file from "Files" section on this mod page and open it.
- Drag all the files from the opened archive into the <game-dir> folder you opened in step #1. (I attached a screenshot [see pics at the top of this page] of the file list after copying BepInEx into the Dave the Diver folder. Your folder should look just like that).
- Start the game.
- NOTE: It will take a while (30 seconds?) to start the first time. BepInEx IL2CPP version is significantly different than the Mono version. It has to decompile everything on the fly. You will notice that it pops up the console and shows you what it's doing. Eventually the game will start. Once it does, kill it.
- In your <game-dir> explorer window, open up the "BepInEx" folder. If there are two new folders in there (plugins and config) then BepInEx is loaded correctly and ready to have plugins installed. If not then I recommend you check the GitHub page I linked above.
- You are now ready to download and use plugins by extracting them into the BepInEx/plugins folder.
