Hello, in this mod i offer Engine.DLL file replacers for Deus Ex Goty and Deus Ex revision modified with usage of HxD Hex editor to improve situationw with FPSes and speed up issue

so i used HxD Hex editor on Deus Ex Goty and Deus Ex Revision installations
This correct the line of code that tries to lock the FPSes towards10-200 fps value
line probably was designed to limit fpses but what it does instead
it make the game sometimes behave as it would be working in 10 or 200 FPS despite not doing it (at least not on my junky laptop thats for sure)
issue is quite rare and i m not sure exactly how you can consistently experience it, but here is the fix :)
Fix neutralise this failed framelock from the code and you can cap or uncap your framerate by different means (i was able to spin 120 and opperate with the game normally, i need stronger machine to tell where is the limit)
i actually play both games for a while (wasn't doing some crazy 100% runs, but works so far) with both Goty vanilla and Revision
i can play for long and spin decent fpses with the games and prolonged play does not cause weird speed ups or other problems
Your engine file is in Deus ex Goty/System
or Deus ex Goty/Revision/System
your goal is to replace file Engine.DLL with my better Engine.DLL and preferably keep your old Engine.DLL - i suggest name it .DLL1 (fake file extention)
but you can just move it to other place with the same name
Engine.DLL works with things like community update, transcendent and GMDX - i m almost convinced none of the mods change it before, but still offer post revision file to be 100% sure, my binary file comparitor didn't found any differences
this are fresh installation files edited with HxD editor and they works
if you wanna include this file in your big fancy installator project feel free to do so

Mod can be installed in middle of active playthru (you just need to quit the game to replace files)
