Satan May Sad Tall Resolution Gathering is a poorly translated version of Devil May Cry 1, 2 and 3.
Every line was Google translated through multiple languages and the back to English.

Finally finished what I've started back in 2019 with first Satan May Sad mod for DMC3.
This mod changes audio and video files that are used in cutscenes.
Includes English subtitles for DMC3. The voices are all text to speech.
Unfortunately I do not know how to mod the subtitles for DMC1 and 2, this is the best I could do.
Installation
Extract the zip folder somewhere.
In Steam right click on "Devil May Cry HD Collection" and select "Properties".
Click on "LOCAL FILES" tab and then click on "BROWSE LOCAL FILES...".
This will open "Devil May Cry HD Collection" folder.
Copy "data" folder form "SatanMaySadTallResolutionGathering" and paste it inside "Devil May Cry HD Collection" folder.
When prompted replace the files in the destination folder.
Now you can close everything and enjoy poorly translated DMC1, 2 and 3.
For Steam Deck / Linux users:
To get FMV cuteness running I would recommend that you use GE-Proton as a compatibility tool.
Mod has been tested to work with version 8-25. You can try with newer versions if you wish.
You can easily install it with ProtonUp-Qt from Flathub.
If you wish to revert back to the original game:
Copy "data" folder form "Original Files" and paste it inside "Devil May Cry HD Collection" folder.
When prompted replace the files in the destination folder. Or reinstall the game.

I plan on modding the subtitles for DMC1 and 2 once I learn how to do so.

Recently I got a Steam deck and decided to replay DMCHD collection.
The game uses a video format that doesn't play nice with Linux.
So I ended up converting the video files into a format that works on both Windows and Linux.
As an unintended side effect the file size of the mod was reduced.
I also included the original files for people who wish to revert back to the original game without having to reinstall the game.
