About this mod

Adds customizable auras to rogue, sorceror and barbarian mercenaries. Allows customizing the skill loadout of all mercenaries as well through the config.

NOTE: auras won't show up until the mercenary is high enough level to use them. Fanaticism needs level 30 for example.

Description:

Everyone knows that the act 2 mercenary is by far the best mercenary simply due to his aura. The other mercenaries not only have to compete against the desert merc himself (who is quite formidable), but they also have to compete against how much better the desert mercs aura makes the player on top of that.

Well, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. With this mod, all mercenaries can have an aura and you can choose which aura you think is best and/or most balanced for each. You can select any Paladin aura you wish.

NOTE: auras won't show up until the mercenary is high enough level to use them. Fanaticism needs level 30 for example.

Additionally, you can change the combat skills of each mercenary with some restrictions. NOTE: level requirements apply here as well.

For example, I originally wanted to make Zeal and Fend available for the desert mercenary, but these skills cause him to bug out and not attack at all. The rogue is restricted to amazon bow skills and inner sight/slow missiles. The sorceror mercenary can use any sorceress skills (except masteries, telekinesis and mana shield). The barbarian can use barbarian skills except leaps, whirlwind and double throw and the buffing shouts, since he either doesn't have the animations for it or just doesn't want to trigger them.

The mod is still a WIP. Most of the available skills don't have icons for the mercenary character tab and use the default inner sight instead, but the descriptions work fine. Once I figure out how to change that I'll add it to the mod :).

Also, the level progression of some of the skills are somewhat unbalanced. A sorceror with conviction and blizzard for example is a real powerhouse, likely as strong or stronger than the player. So some level fine-tuning for each skill is still to be done.
