Changelogs
Version 1.0.4.2
Changed "Chipped Amethyst" to "Flawed Amethyst" to ensure compatibility with the Item Convert mod.
Version 1.0.4.1
Bugfix for linux users
Version 1.0.3.1
Fixed the bug related to static IDs. All IDs are now dynamic, which should reduce compatibility issues with other mods.
Version 1.0.3
9. **Chipped Gemstone for Completing Runewords with More Than Four Effects**: For runewords that require more than four effects, a chipped gemstone is automatically generated after completing the first step. This gemstone can then be used in the second step to apply the remaining effects and fully complete the runeword.
Version 1.0.2
Added unbalanced runewords: Now it is possible to use all runewords. Due to internal limitations, it is only possible to add five effects by using a cube recipe. Therefore, the full runeword can be completed in two steps. For the second stept a perfect gemstone is needed. I did not test all runewords, so there could be bugs; please let me know if you find any.
Added Settings: Now it is possible to disable unique runewords or enable unbalanced runewords per setting.
Added remove method for runed runewords: This is a highly experimental feature that works by regenerating the item. However, if the item has been upgraded to an elite or exceptional version, all of its stats will be completely lost. It is strongly recommended to use this feature only on non-upgraded items. To downgrade an item, transmute it with an El rune and a Town Portal scroll; this will return the runes used. To remove the "runed item" runeword, transmute the item with a Thul rune and a Town Portal scroll in the cube. Please back up your save file before attempting to use this feature.
Fixed a bug where identical runes in runewords were not detected, causing the runeword to fail
Version 1.0.1
**`runes.txt` Removal:** The runes.txt file is no longer necessary for the mod to function. Previously, its inclusion caused a bug where the "Insight" runeword could not be created on missile weapons, ladder-only runewords would not be available, and existing items with these runewords would disappear from the inventory. This issue has been corrected, and the fix applies to all runewords, ensuring proper functionality across all item types.
**Runewords on Unique Items:** This mod enables the use of all runewords on unique items, expanding item customization options.
**Runeword Insight for missile weapons:** This mod enables the use of the runeword insight on normal, magic, rare or unique missile items.
**Runeword Insight changes:** The Meditation aura now has a variable level range of 12-17 instead of a fixed level of 12.
**Runeword Smoke changes:** It now additionally provides +50 to all resistances.
Place the item: Put the item you want to inscribe into the Cube.
Add the runes: Include the desired rune combination alongside the item.
Transmute: Use the Cube to transmute the item and runes into a Runed Item.
The Runed Unique Items mod has two components is that it combines two distinct modifications into one.
First Component: A Fork of the "Runed Items" Mod This part is based on the Runed Items mod (found here), where I reused the original code but added unique items for the existing runewords. The original creator designed the runewords to avoid being overly powerful by focusing only on their core properties.
Second Component: "Unbalanced Runed Runewords" This is an additional feature that can be enabled in the settings. With this enabled, all runewords from runed.txt become available as crafting recipes. However, due to internal limitations, each crafting recipe requires two steps in version 1.0.4, as only five effects can be added per step.
The primary changes are:

Eastern Sun Resurrected Compatibility: This mod is fully compatible with the Eastern Sun Mod. An additional setting has been created to enhance compatibility. Please enable this setting only if you are using Eastern Sun Resurrected with D2RMM.
Disclaimer: Although previous issues causing item loss have been addressed, it is still strongly recommended to back up your save files before installing this mod. This precaution will allow you to restore your game to its previous state should any unexpected problems occur. To revert, simply remove the mod and restore your backed-up save files.
Note: If you remove the mod and your character does not have any runed items in their inventory or stash, it is not necessary to restore the savegame. However, for characters with runed items, restoring from a backup is still advised.
