This is a reshade mod for all the people obsessed with crispy fresh visuals, HISL stands for How it Should Look, this is the first in a series of reshade mods I will put out for multiple games. These are simple, non-invasive reshades that add depth, sharpness, and color contrast to many games. Best for folks who don't have an HDR capable monitor.

So this Reshade mod is the first of many (depending on how this one does) that aim to boost visual fidelity of games with barely any performance impact, if any, this one in particular only uses two shaders the fakeHDR and Adaptive Sharpness shaders. I believe these are part of the legacy effects packs.
To use these shaders just download Reshade and follow the steps within the Reshade app itself, they do a fantastic job of making it easy to understand/follow. Just make sure to scroll all the way down to the legacy effects pack when it asks you which ones to download, and then just click next..if you're frugal with space (you'll be saving like kbs if you do this) then you can just tick the fakeHDR and Adaptive Sharpness shaders when it asks you for which ones to download and install.
When it comes to fine tuning this Reshade Pack for your specific monitor, because every monitor is different, I HIGHLY recommend adjusting your IN GAME brightness settings once you've already installed Reshade AND transferred the reshade-shaders folder + other files into your Diablo IV directory.
What To Do Once You Have Downloaded The Mod:
Step 0.5: Make sure you have already downloaded Reshade and gone through the proper steps to have it installed on Diablo IV like I said its pretty straight forward!
Step 1: Go to C:\Diablo IV or if its on a hard drive and you cannot find the Diablo IV directory then Google 'where to find Blizzard games on a hard drive' that should help.
Step 2: Open the Diablo IV HISL Reshade.zip file you downloaded, and within it you will see everything you need to copy and paste into your Diablo IV game directory folder. (the one from step one)
Step 3: Enjoy!
