A tool for planning the characters of your adventure!

This is a web-based tool that allows you to customize up to 4 D:OS characters; their attributes, abilities, and skills. Further, it provides a nice coherent interface for exploring all the skills available in each ability.

A breakdown of the primary features:

  • customize a full party of up to 4 characters:
  • set a character's level and see how it affects the amount of attribute and ability points that become available to them
  • distribute attribute and ability points
  • explore the skills available in each ability and see what level is required for each tier of those skills (very helpful for deciding which ability to unlock and in what order, instead of going through a swarm of wiki pages...)
  • build up a skill-book to get an idea of how your in-game arsenal would look like (e.g. need more mitigation skills? more damage? etc.)
  • the tool will automatically remember your choices in the URL so you can save/share/reload without worrying about losing your plan!

Example usage steps:

  • choose a character from the 4 available portraits (the first one is chosen by default)
  • raise up the character level to as high as you want
  • distribute the attributes (INT or STR, etc.)
  • click on the ability links (the panel to the left right below ATTRIBUTES) to explore the skills they provide
  • choose which abilities you want to specialize in and how many points
  • choose the skills you want to end up learning until your skill-book is full
  • rinse and repeat for the other characters you want to plan
