Ports the majority of Dante's balance patch from Definitive Edition. Changes include a total rework of Demon Dodge, fire rate adjustments to Kablooey, Osiris 'Feed' tweaks and more.

You will need FCH823's TFC Installer for UE3. The installation instructions for this mod are also found on the page for the TFC installer as they are identical for any game which utilizes this program.

This mod ports a majority of Dante's Definitive Edition balance patch to the PC version of DmC. Eventually, I will release a
comprehensive document that goes over every change made, but for this
mod page, I'll be keeping it a bit more simple just to get the point
across.
For those of you who will be using this patch with GMD Custom, you MUST install GMD Custom FIRST and then the DE Balance Patch.

- Added a ResponseCurve to Dante's Archetype file for use during Demon Dodge's speed buff
- Added a ContactTagCheck for GMD Custom mod compatibility
- Changed the flavor text for 'Perfect Evade!' to 'Last-Second Evade!' to mimic Definitive Edition
- 'Sprint' perk has been enabled and will activate after 1.5 seconds (this is automatic and does not need to be toggled like other perks). [v1.03]
- Removed the playmode restrictions on GunSpecials like Rainstorm, Fireworks or Kablooey Detonate, allowing you to execute these moves in Human, Angel or Demon mode. [v1.03]
- Enemy Step will now stun Vergil in the air [v1.04]
STYLE POINT SYSTEM
- Removed all 5 multi-enemy multipliers just like Hardcore Mode. [v1.04]
DEVIL TRIGGER
- Increased DrainRate for DT both on the ground and in the air from 120 to 200
- Increased HealthRegenPerSecond both on the ground and in the air from 35 to 58
- Increased the amount of DT gained for each difficulty
EVADES
- All human aerial evades are cancellable into double jumps. Does not apply to Demon Dodge. [v1.04]
- Fixed an oversight for Angel Evade which would cause Dante to be hit by Frost Knight ice. [v1.04]

- Fixed the Evade roll bug that prevented Dante from performing a buffered Inverse Rainstorm [v1.03]
RANGED/Revenant
- Created new killfeed names which are unique to each level of charge. Tier 1 = Revenant Bomb / Tier 2 = Full Charge Revenant Bomb / Tier 3 Perfect Bomb! [v1.05]
RANGED/Ebony and Ivory
- Increased fire rate on Inverse Rainstorm and Rainstorm Upgrades from 6 to 12
- Decreased Style Points on Inverse Rainstorm and Rainstorm Upgrades from 12 to 6
- Decreased Damage on Inverse Rainstorm and Rainstorm Upgrades from 10 to 5
- Increased the StyleVarietyDropHitCount from 6 to 18 allowing you to use E&I 300% more before it begins to reduce combo variety
- Removed the Kablooey detonation restriction from Inverse Rainstorm [v1.05]
RANGED/Kablooey
- Decreased the SuccessiveFiringDelay on regular Kablooey shots from 0.6 to 0.45
- Decreased the SuccessiveFiringDelay on repeated Kablooey shots from 0.6 to 0.45
ANGEL LIFT
- Heavily reduced the damage on Vergil-specific Payoff from 300 to 20 (30 for upgrade). [v1.02]
- Adjusted the popout windows on Aerial Payoff allowing you to cancel it quicker after it makes contact.[v1.04]
- Payoff will now override DT on Stygians and will launch them like usual. This was done to keep the reward consistent as this is a property of Payoff that applies to most enemy types except for Stygians. [v1.04]
REBELLION
- Changed DVCombat_StrikeDef_0 on Rebellion Combo B5 so that it can strike secondary targets [v1.03]
- Extended the duration of the Trillion Stab link to work how it used to in stage demos and Devil May Cry 3. A small window now allows you to cancel Stinger into Trillion Stab with good timing. [v1.04]
- Changed the ReactionDirection for Stinger to DVCRD_Down, keeping Dante and the enemy in line with each other (this is how it works in traditional DMC). Secondary Contact Def has been given DVCRD_Up which knocks secondary targets up.[v1.04]
OSIRIS
- Added cancel permissions to Raze Cancel. In Vanilla, failing to fully charge Raze puts Dante in an action which is usually uncancellable. It is now cancellable with any action at any point in the animation except for basic movement (Running/Walking).
- Reduced the amount of damage needed to reach max Feed from 300 to 150
- Increased the ScytheTimeout from 3 to 4
- Increased the ScytheDrainTime from 4 to 6
- Osiris Combo B1 is now cancellable much sooner to make it slightly more flexible [v1.04]
- Osiris Combo B1 will now break the guards of lesser enemies like Stygians to further incentivise its use (does not affect shields). Block break duration is shorter than other moves which use this property. [v1.04]
AQUILLA
- Reduced the lifetime on Roundtrip Tier 1 from 4 seconds to 2 seconds (Upgrade is 3 seconds)
- Reduced the lifetime on Roundtrip Tier 2 from 4 seconds to 3 seconds (Upgrade is 4 seconds)
- Reduced the lifetime on Roundtrip Tier 3 from 6 seconds to 4 seconds (Upgrade is 5 seconds)
- Reduced the lifetime on Roundtrip Tier 4 from 6 seconds to 5 seconds (Upgrade is 6 seconds)
- Adjusted the ReactionTargetLocation on all versions of Calibur on the Z axis from 100 to 5 allowing for a more consistent jump cancel at 60+ fps. [v1.03]
- Disabled the mutual exclusivity on Aquilla Combo A4 so that it hits properly throughout the entire attack. [v1.03]
- Fixed the broken effect trails on 5 Aquilla attacks for playing at 60+ FPS [v1.03]
- Added new move 'Bring It In!' bound to Angel -> Forwardx2 + Circle/B/Strong Melee. It is a weaker version of Buy-In with unique pull properties and is unlocked by purchasing the base level Buy-In (ground and air). [v1.05]
ARBITER
- Increased the number of times a Dreamrunner will Parry ground Flush from 2 to 3
- Changed the contact reaction on Tremor from none to KO causing enemies to get knocked back neatly into the Tremor projectile. The change was originally intended for Drop but seeing as how its purpose and uses are already well established, I didn't want to mess with Drop and how players utilize it. Keeping this new property exclusive to Tremor gives the move a much needed buff that encourages players to explore what is an otherwise, worse version of a move that already exists. It will also domino which means any enemy that gets KO'd by Tremor will knockback other enemies they make contact with. [v1.05]
ERYX
- Created custom targeting parameters for Showdown so that it properly finds targets. Applies to all tiers. Issue with targeting Bob Barbas now has a workaround applied and will hit him and all other targets fine. [v1.05]
DEMON DODGE
- LastSecondEvadeTime window reduced from 0.18 to 0.15 for both the air and ground versions
- Reduced DamageMultiplier from 1.5x to 1.3x (Upgrade reduced from 2x to 1.6x)
- Reduced StyleMultiplier from 1.5x to 0.866x (Upgrade reduced from 2 to 1.0666)
- Created a 10% game speed increase after a successful Demon Dodge that lasts for the duration of the usual buff (6 seconds)
