This mod is designed to be fully compatible with custom WADs.

This mod is a simple alteration of the brilliant Minimalist Doom64-Inspired Hud by Xtyfe. If you would like this HUD, but with the traditional Doomguy portrait, you can download it from Xtyfe's ZDoom forum post. Xtyfe's original mod can have issues with keys not working in custom WADs in my experience.
This mod is designed to be fully compatible with custom WADs.
Alterations from original mod:
- No portrait in fullscreen mode,
- No status effect in top right corner,
- Restored vanilla key icons - should fix an issue the original seems to have with keys in custom WADs.
- Restored original status bar when screen size is lowered, mainly because some custom WADs redraw the status bar in fun ways.
- Raised position of inventory panel for WADs that use inventory items.
- Added ammo count for reloading weapons.
