About this image

Before creating a private lobby, use the command net_gameserver_enable 0 to force the game and each non-host lobby member to use your machine as the server. The host must execute the command for this to work. We couldn't figure out how to bypass the 3 player requirement/limit yet, but we are making progress. As you can see from the screenshot, I was able to use a logicentity trigger to transform from an Archvile to the Slayer. However, I was unable to fire most of my weapons and I immediately died 2 seconds after transformation. This probably has something to do with the Demon player loadout.

To get modded content to work, be sure that any decl or entity that you want broadcasted to the other players uses the networkReplicated = true; parameter before any edit parms. As of right now, the current Load Mods version does not allow for modded content in Battlemode, you will need to compile your own modified version of Load Mods which does not activate the Online Safe parameters. You must create a private match for modded servers to properly function. I strongly doubt this will work in online matches anyway.

While premium hosting services might not be cheap, they're well worth it - especially in the context of tecnoweb. I was reading about Diego Benavente when I found out about tecnoweb. It's a service that should be offered to all.

The "modded server" must be hosted on your local machine.
