Changelogs
Version 2.0
Changelog v2.0:
- Added some campaign maps! Added one arena from Exultia, Cultist Base, Doom Hunter Base, and Super Gore Nest. These arenas are smaller and more frantic than Battlemode maps and should offer an interesting change of pace.
- Four versions of the mod are now available: Choose Easy or Hard, Marauders or No Marauders
- Hard mode has more heavy demons on average and is similar to the previous update's difficulty.
- Easy mode has fewer heavy demons on average and is designed to feel more like the base game.
- Fixed crash while loading Stronghold.
- Bounties: Timers have been made shorter on average.
- Bounties: Bounty powerups no longer grant a damage bonus and only grant a score multiplier. The score multipliers have been changed to 1.5x, 2x, and 3x.
- Added a new music handling system to allow occasional playback of boss music.
- Heavy combat music begins early when dangerous demons spawn.
- Changed default runes and weapon mods to better reflect community meta.
- Fixed a few common scenarios where the main encounter and bounty encounter stopped spawning heavies.
- Removed fog and bouncepad disabled special events to maintain feature parity between maps -- sorry!
Balance Changes
- Reduced number of health and armor pickups
- Heavy demons now spawn when heavy music begins
- Fixed bounty demons having a small chance of not spawning (NOTE: this still happens due to bugs introduced in the DRM removal update. Sorry!)
- Heavies begin spawning sooner at the beginning of a wave
- Increased average delay between heavy demon spawns
- Increased wave time by 10 seconds
- Increased Prowler spawn chance
- Reduced Marauder spawn chance
- Reduced Blood Maykr spawn chance
- Slightly reduced Cyber Mancubus spawn chance

Removed UN mode for now -- too buggy
Version 1.4
Added UN mode (pick up the mega health in the hub before selecting a map)
Fight endless waves of demons to get the highest score possible!
Infinite Arena Mode is powered by an advanced randomizerthat generates balanced encounters that feel similar to vanilla content. The randomizer uses built-in features found in the EncounterManager entity class to create a state machine. Each demon spawn is weighted differently and each wait condition before a new demon spawn is randomized.
I recommend turning on notifications - they give you helpful alerts about demon spawns, bounties, and wave progression.
NOTES: - Replaces Horde Mode - Start with a fully loaded Slayer - All demons (including DLC) included - Score progress saves upon changing maps or returning to hub - Currently only supports Battlemode maps (campaign maps coming eventually)
Every two waves you will have the option of staying in the same map or changing maps.
There is a chance for Horde Mode bounties to occur in each wave. These bounties reward you with a score multiplier that does not grant 4x damage, meaning you can focus on the vanilla combat experience!
Before submitting a bug report, please try updating and check the changelog for fixes! If you are experiencing crashes or fodder-only waves, try using the following settings in EternalModInjector Settings.txt: :DISABLE_MULTITHREADING=1 :SLOW=1
FAQ Q: Is it endless? A: Yes! (until you run out of lives). Your score is saved when you change maps or return to the hub -- even if the game crashes, you can probably relaunch and keep playing.
Q: Do I have my full arsenal? A: Mastered weapons, support runes, and the hammer are all available from the start.
Q: Do the waves get harder over time? A: No, the difficulty is entirely random. Sometimes the fight will get crazy, and other times it will slow down.
Q: How hard is this? A: The randomizer has checks in place to ensure that the fight never gets out of hand and hard demons are kept to a minimum. If you are comfortable beating master levels and DLC content, you should have no problems with this mode.
Q: What does the 20 second timer mean? A: The 20 second timer is a grace period before the huge wave of demons at the end of the round spawns in. Try to kill as many heavy demons as possible before timer expires -- otherwise, you may end up with an extremely difficult encounter!
Q: How do the bounty powerups work? A: They have been nerfed from their Horde mode counterparts: Gold, Silver, and Bronze multipliers have been reduced to 3x, 2x, and 1.5x respectively, they no longer grant 4x damage, and multipliers do not stack.
Q: Will this mod interfere with the official leaderboard? A: Technically yes -- however, this footage from xspNoble33 shows that it takes nearly SEVEN HOURS to reach Slayer rank through this mode. Simply quit out before you reach 400k points and you'll be fine. (edit: it takes much much longer to reach Slayer rank as of update 1.4)
Q: Can I file a bug report? A: If you have a problem to report, please check the bugs page first -- if the bug is not already listed, submit a report!
Q: What do I do if I get softlocked? A: Skip to the next arena by using the command "trigger arena_transition" in the console!
