Therefore, there is some jank regarding the hit detection for the new abilities & there are no custom animations.
Details
Weapon Changes
- Replaced Chaingun "Energy Shield" mod with "Tesla Pulse", a wide-spread short-ranged automatic gun similar to the Skull Crusher.
- Upgrade (3): Decrease windup time.
- Upgrade (6): Decrease movement speed penalty.
- Mastery (kill 80 demons): Attacks pierce through demons.
- Killing fodder give 1/10 Blood Punch charge, 3/10 for heavies, 5/10 for superheavies.
- After killing the Gladiator, Glory Kills give 2/10 charge (in addition to kill charge).
- Increased splash damage & damage radius of Plasma Shield explosions, enough to stagger a nearby Carcass or Prowler.
Equipment Changes
- Replaced "Frag Grenade" with "Parry", a defensive melee strike.
- Damages and hard-falters a demon.
- Successful strikes give you invulnerability for 0.75 seconds.
- Burns demons for 20 armor when killed. Burning effect lasts longer than Flame Belch.
- "Combustion Concussion" & "Scatter Bombs" suit upgrades are unused.
- Reduces damage taken by 75%.
- Reduces movement speed & dash recharge rate by 50%.
- Gives you the infinite ammo effect.
- Lasts 4 seconds.
- "Permafrost", "Ice Drops", "Frost Bite" suit upgrades are unused.
- Instantly gibs & passes through fodder.
- Stuns heavies & superheavies. Stun effect is identical to the Sentinel Hammer & its stun duration upgrade.
- Instantly explodes Plasma Shields.
Loot Drop Changes
- Blood Punch direct damage & kills drop ammo
- Blood Punch splash kills with the "Punch and Reave" rune drop ammo (in addition to health).
- Glory Kills drop ammo (in addition to health).
- Breaking weakpoints drop 20 armor.
- Plasma Shield explosion kills drop 20 armor.
- Mastered Full Auto damage burns enemies for 10 armor when killed (in addition to shells).
- Replaced "Napalm Belch" crystal upgrade with "Burning Shells", which makes the Combat Shotgun base fire damage burn enemies for 10 armor when killed.
- Maykr Drone headshot kills drop less health & half-ammo.
- Blood Maykr headshot kills drop half-ammo.
- Armor loot drops last for 10 seconds, instead of 20.
- Blood Punch charges gained from armor shards & health dropped by Blood Punch splash kills are halved.
- Individual shell loot drops that are dropped by normal means give 3 shells, instead of 5.
Other Changes
- "Quickdraw Belch" has been renamed to "Quick Fire", and applies to "Flame Saw". "Flame Saw" has a reduced base cooldown.
- "Faster Parry Cooldown" & "Double Parry" are the only upgrades for "Parry". "Parry" has a reduced base & upgraded cooldown.
- "Faster Iron Cooldown" is the only upgrade for "Iron Skin".
- English Strings have been replaced in the Codex, Dossier, & Tutorials to communicate the new changes above.
Known Issues
- Hit registration for Parry may fail, even if the invulnerability effect triggers. Try to avoid using Parries close to walls or complicated geometry to mitigate the issue.
- Hit registration for Flame Saw may fail to explode a Shield Soldier's Energy Shield. Try aiming closer to the center of the Energy Shield to mitigate this issue.
- The stun effect for Flame Saw may fail. If this happens consistently, try giving yourself the hammer and removing it.
Follow this guide: https://wiki.eternalmods.com/books/3-command-console/page/swap-crucible-hammer - Some Fodder, Tentacles, or other low-health enemies may not burn and drop armor when instantly killed by the Combat Shotgun or Full Auto. Try continuously firing from mid-to-close range to mitigate the issue.
- Sticky Bombs do not burn demons because I could not get it working the way I intended it to. I wanted direct damage only from the mastered Sticky Bomb weapon mod to burn demons for 10 armor. The burning effect requires splash damage from non-hitscan projectiles to apply it, and getting tons of armor from Sticky Bomb explosions seemed way over-tuned.
- The infinite-ammo buff from Iron Skin is an unintended effect from using the haste status effect from single player. I cannot seem to remove it despite there being a Boolean that claims it can be disabled.
