About this image
Arl Eamon was restored to health, and now Jowan's neck was on the line. For some reason, Eamon turned to me to decide his fate. Isolde tried to push for execution, but I silenced her with a fierce glare.
Then I looked into my old friend's eyes again.
I forgave him for using blood magic. That was easy, now that I was no longer bound to the Circle and the Chantry's way of thinking. He was a desperate man driven to desperate action. If that were his only crime, I would let him go free.
He had also poisoned Eamon on Loghain's say-so. But it was either work for Loghain or be left to the mercy of the Chantry. He only wanted to survive.
I took a deep breath and turned to Eamon. "I want him to go free," I said in a clear voice.
But Eamon would not allow it - Jowan needed to be punished for his crimes. Stupid game, I thought.
Instead, I suggested he be sent to the Circle again. Hopefully Irving would show mercy, though it seemed unlikely given all that had happened there as a result of blood magic and demons. I resolved to go there later and intercede on Jowan's behalf. Maybe Irving would listen to me.
Jowan looked solemnly into my eyes as they led him away. "Thank you, my friend," he whispered.

Nice story once again, Qess
generous decision.
Niec one, again, Qes
nicely captured
Nice one again Qess. It's a pity that without a mod you can't save him (at least at that point, since you can tell him to leave when you first find him)
