About this image

I have been still getting inquiries about our armor. With Skyrim coming out so soon, I don't think it will ever be completed. I do have a working version of the original Silverlight armor in a beta form. It has the main body all one piece with the gloves and boots extra. you can't use the gloves and boots separately. There is also a closed and open faced helmet. There are no tint files, just the way Jojjo originally intentioned it to be.

I have Jojjo's permission to upload this. I am wondering if there is enough interest and if you guys/gals would be happy with just this beta release or if I should just keep it until when or if it does become complete. The only way to add it to your inventory right now is via a console spawn command which is "runscript silverlight".

I guess I will judge based on interest of this image and comments about it. Please don't burn up my pm box about this. Put your comments and questions in the comments of this image that way everyone can see my answers. That way I don't have to answer a question multiple times. Thank you.

A release by stages is never an error. Most people check back for upgrades to a mod.

Well, eventually all images "go dead," since they get buried under tons of other, newer, images. That much is inevitable. Mods, however, are a different story. If one could track images as well as mods, it'd all be much easier.

It is finished enough to wear. there are just some issues like the boots not working separately. We had envisioned the armor to be one piece and then to have boots and gloves so that you could have something else to enchant or have custom stats on. It has its icons done and it is set high for stats...tier 9...but that can be easily changed with the Utility Sack V2 or similar mod. Even though this image is getting buried by the multiple image poster members, it still seems like there is interest. I have to change a part on the engine of my wife's car first then I will see about getting it up this afternoon. I might be able to post a separate addon mod that makes the vanilla heavy armor symmetrical. My Gina companion in the golden heavy armor with the blonde Witcher hair to the right is wearing the female version of it. I am sure I can, but it is polite to ask first....especially when it is a friend.

might be worth waiting a bit to get it totally right... hard to tell as there may be some who would really love to wear a version that perhaps is not totally as you envision it ending up like

    I am sorry if I wasn't clear....
I am not planning on holding this mod or its release hostage for endorsements. I/We have never been about that. I am just trying to see if there is interest in the armor to justify the time it takes to post and maintain/update the mod on the Nexus. Only a few people remember that we had this in the works. I just posted the image as a reminder to the rest of you or the new people in an attempt to gauge interest levels in me releasing this. If this image "goes dead" and no one comments, that will tell me that there really isn't interest so I won't bother. I have posted other images that are well received. If this follows suit, I will assume there is enough interest.

You could release it in stages. Say, if this image gets 50 endorsements (just an example), you can release the Silverlight armor. If that mod in turn gets 100 endorsements or so, you could release another version, and so on. Hopefully you'll get enough endorsements to get you started. XD
