The armors are currently being tested and there are some things that I need to fix before I'll release them. My toolset doesn't accept massive_variation.gda files, I always get an invalid file error, so all the massive armors are currently heavy armors.
Yep, I don't like the default DAO proportions, too clunky and in the case of dwarfs apish, so I use tmp7704's proportions fixes as templates for the ported armors.

Have you used this mod, I don't know the name which "resized" the dwarven body?
