Read below and look at the pictures, because I have a question: Do you think you can live with that armor and the way it looks?
Edit: I was able to more or less conceal the seams on the back, the ones on the arms are still there but a new uv-mapping helped a bit. It is better now, not perfect but better
This is how the back looks ingame now. There are areas on both sides, that are a bit darker where the faces are more angular. I can't get rid of it, not without causing the seams to open and this will look really bad when the character is moving:
This is the the elven version (I took some liberty and changed the breast/chest area of the mesh a bit). The seam on the arm is still visible (it depends on the lighting how noticeable it will be):
I for one am perfectly happy with how it looks now. It's a huge step up from how the other version looks in any case, and a lot of people seemed to deem that worthy of use even with the arms and hips being blocky.
